The salary I make now would’ve solved every financial issue I had 10 years ago. Not anymore. So no, we’re not lazy or living above our means. We’re being denied the means to live.

The biggest myth in physical therapy? That you need to "fix" everything immediately. If you are carrying the weight of always having the right answer for every patient, you are falling into a common trap. Let's talk about it. 🧵👇

@samytopia All Nigerian leaders were once just citizens with aspirations. So, I would opine that many Nigerians think in that manner until it no longer favors them.

A lot of people in Nigeria don’t even know physiotherapy can help with breathing problems, recovery after pregnancy (especially after a difficult birth), delayed milestones in babies, or even preventing falls. But yeah… it’s just for pain, and stroke right?

Most of my days are spent on my feet, working with patients. So these days, when I’m buying clothes, my first thought is “can I comfortably bend, turn, and demonstrate in this?” Honestly, it’s either that… or I just live in scrubs all week 😅

Growing up in Nigeria You see a class of 50 pupils Only 10 are bright and are doing well The remaining 40 are struggling Many of us did not know that amongst those 40 were special kids who were not olodos but couldn't learn with the structure provided - Some needed visual learning - Some needed reinforcement learning - Some needed mind mapping and other techniques But they could not get it. So, the system called all of them Olodo. They grew up with the low self esteem and gave up on themselves

One part of my work I truly love is helping patients understand their pathology and how they can take part in their healing process. You can actually see the shift, it’s empowering for them. Especially when they follow through and see a positive outcome. It builds trust.

When you about designing a fall risk assessment form that captures all systems and to make sure you understand and know how to apply clinical reasoning for every finding. My stomach is turning and my head is spinning.

Many girls have reportedly been r@p£d and m0l£sted by men in Ozoro during what is being described as a “r@p!ng festival” in the area. According to multiple reports and videos circulating online, today is said to be the day of this festival in the Ozoro community, and girls are wvrned not to go outside. It is alleged that any girl seen outside could be att@ck£d and r@p£d by groups of men. Foreigners who are unaware of this situation have reportedly fallen v!ctim as well. There is Delta state university in Ozoro, and many female students may not be fully aware of the d@nger. It is distvrbing that something like this could be tolerated in society. This is heartbreaking, and urgent action needs to be taken.

Now I’ve come to the conclusion that the only thing that really impresses me about Toyota vehicles is their durability. Apart from that, the aesthetics are quite mid.

If you use to be active with exercises both strength training and aerobics please don’t stop because you are aging. In fact, that is when you need it the most. Factor in both compound and unilateral exercises into your training routine. Many adults wish they never stopped.
