Notice they cut the person selling the drink but didn’t cut the price of the drink to match

You can now get your $20 can of beer from a machine at Dodger Stadium. RIP human jobs at the Ravine.

@FreightAlley I’m still hearing shippers claiming they are getting 100 percent acceptance from the mega brokers at contract rates , I call bullshit on that
English

Just got off a call with a mega-fleet CEO:
"Shippers are holding out for rate increases, hoping that the market tightness is a passing fad. There isn't conviction just yet.
The war has given them an excuse to avoid taking rate increases because they want to believe the market will soften.
But it isn't. The past 3 weeks have been incredible."

Imagine you had to choose your life at age 40:
Option A:
Single. No kids.
$10M net worth.
Travel anywhere. Total freedom.
Quiet house. Quiet holidays.
Option B:
Married. 3 kids.
$1M net worth.
Drive a Toyota. Chaos every morning.
Loud house. Full dinner table.
Be honest, which life are you choosing?

No major freight brokerages in any of these cities. Makes sense.

@end3of6days9 Wendy’s normally closed anyway , after a while you’d don’t even bother to check if they are open

Remember when walking into a fast-food joint felt like you mattered?
Back in the day, companies lived by 'the customer is always right'—smiles, your name, extra care, no rush.
Fast-forward to now:
You pull up to Wendy's drive-thru. Order a simple meal. Crickets. No greeting. 'Large? Got it.' Window opens just long enough to hand over $21+ food and slam shut. Zero warmth, zero thanks, zero care.
Then imagine the same order at Chick-fil-A:
'Hi, welcome! What's your name? Matt? Awesome choice—I'll have one later too. Extra sauce? On us. Thank you so much for choosing us—have a great day!'
What happened? Customer service used to be the #1 priority. Now? It's barely on the list.
Wake up, companies—people remember how you made them feel. 🛎️🍔
Who's with me on bringing back real service?

@supertrucker Most likely I’m already taking a loss and you want $8 a mile instead of the $5 a mile I’m offering you
