@soundslikecanoe Most of these launches are run by engineers or product people with very little design sense. Thus they are amazed by what the AI can output. But most people know that these automated AI ads are pure slop. It's crap. We see it in our feeds already. And your point is spot on too.

imo these AI CMO tools would be way more successful if they toned down their copy a lot. No legitimate 8 figure brand is going to believe that this is a replacement for their head of growth (because it's not) So when you start with that premise, it's hard to believe anything else you say. Start with "we make really great ads based on really important signals and context, and then we help you with media buying" etc etc And we'll be more likely to believe you.

I want an AI that analyzes peoples' social posts in real-time, and gives it a reliability score based on its research. Like a BS-meter. @soren_iverson did you do this one already? ;-)

@sunnytrochaniak @vanschneider That happens when the frame is on a sub-pixel as Tobias says. I.e. make sure the frames are not positioned on any decimals in the x and y position. It's a ridiculous bug that hasn't been fixed yet.

@vanschneider I still don’t know how to consistently export images without a white line sometimes appearing on the side. I swear I’ve tried whole values for dimensions, axis etc. Frustrating.

@Benioff Yes. But a big drawback is that you can't disable "train on my data" unless you delete all chats and history (which means it can't recollect old convos and learn from you).

Holy shit. I’ve used ChatGPT every day for 3 years. Just spent 2 hours on Gemini 3. I’m not going back. The leap is insane — reasoning, speed, images, video… everything is sharper and faster. It feels like the world just changed, again. ❤️ 🤖 wsj.com/tech/ai/google…

Over 10 years, my teams at my agency SuperFriendly delivered 125 projects. Projects ranged from free to $960k ($89K on average). We tracked, documented, and organized every single one in a giant spreadsheet. Now, I’ve turned it into something you can use. Inside the spreadsheet, you’ll find: ✅ Work spanning branding, UX, campaigns, and strategy ✅ Projects across tech, retail, media, and nonprofits ✅ A decade of lessons on what clients actually buy ✅ Patterns you can use to position your own offers ✅ A shortcut for benchmarking your own projects This isn’t theory. It’s a real-world record of agency work across 10 years. We went from $0 to $3M. In this document, you can see how we did it, project by project. I’m sharing this for a few reasons: 1️⃣ What gets measured gets managed. We can’t make more money if we can’t even talk about it on the same page. 2️⃣ To show what’s possible. I didn’t know it was possible to sell a website for $10k—or $100k—until I did. What if I had known sooner? I can’t change that for me, but I might be able to for you. 3️⃣ It makes me a better teacher. I can’t teach “real-world” lessons if I’m hiding the real numbers. Students deserve context, not just theory. I could sell this. But I’m giving it away for free instead. Want the spreadsheet? → Like this post + comment “PROJECTS” And I’ll send it your way.

introducing: liquid mask hover for @framer. add a fluid, cursor-responsive hover effect that reveals images through an organic mask — customize size, blur, texture, and speed to match your style. drop "LIQUID" in the comments and i’ll send you the component free :)

@9th @alexlandings @thecosmos That sucks. Happened to me too, and zero support from X. Took some weeks to get back by just trying to log in from different devices and browsers. Luck I guess.

Big @framer fan but they need to get their billing together. It's the second time they bill wrong items with huge amount differences. E.g. you add 2 editors and they suddenly charge you 100 eur/m (despite it being 20e/editor). Please prioritize your billings system as well guys.

Lovable just raised $200M at a $1.8B valuation led by Accel. This all started unexpectedly with me calling my friend at 6AM to go for a walk. I've never shared this story before: (thread)

I believe the "Comment for X resource" posts are a plague on our society. The commenter: - looks thirsty (sorry) - likely won't even get the lead magnet promised (i'm still waiting for some from months ago) The author: - now has to get the lead magnet to everyone (uh oh) - but they don't even have the tools to properly to do so (whoops) That's why my resource... (a Message Map for marketing leaders to create a foundation to scale all their content efforts, inform their GTM strategy, and align cross-functionally so they don't splinter) ... is free and available to download in one click. I know I'm breaking the rules. I know I won't have visibility. But I do know that whoever gets it might find it helpful. And that's what I'm going for today. (Plus I don't have time to DM a bunch of people.) Download below: canva.com/design/DAGr0Po…

@danmall I never understood this, there's no em dash on a keyboard right? So how do you use them so often? Curious

I’ve always used em dashes—a lot!—in my writing. Now that em dashes are cancelled—apparently, they’re “a dead giveaway of AI writing”—I’m noticing that I want to use them even more.
