@NekoNeco_Cat Change the rotate manipulator to gimbal mode. Usually hold the rotate key and left click to show the hotbox and choose gimbal.

@Posthaste_ I liked the distinction between "magic" and "spiritual force". It brings a different flavor to the supernatural elements that the Overwatch universe has.

For the 20th anniversary of HL2, I tried to make new art in the same style as my old art. That meant going back to old methods and deliberately ignoring all the stuff I've learned in the last 20 years. It was a really fun excersize.

Really looking forward to my new role as Principal Animator for 2K's Cloud Chamber studio. We've got such a great team of people and it's growing. Hopefully what we make achieves a great delight to people as it did for me when I joined.

@wasim_cg Yep, this is why you shouldn’t put limits in rig controls. Creative freedom needs shredded verts! Haha

I used to make super complicated rigs that account for all possible poses from storyboard in the early days but I learned quickly to keep it simple and give animator more autonomy to sculpt poses required for the performance. My advise to aspiring riggers, keep it simple/stupid

!!! SUBSTANCE: FULL SHORT FILM !!! This wasn't my first attempt at making a short film, but was the first time finishing one. A lot of sleepless nights but the reward was making something of my own. Thanks to the many ppl who believed in me & festivals for showing it.
