@ScofieldOnchain This. AUM is vanity. What matters: does yield flow directly to the asset wallet? Is the legal structure on record? Can you read the token framework before you buy? Projects that can't answer those questions avoid like the scary homeless dude limping towards you on the sidewalk.

Global access might be more powerful than high APY.
High yields get attention. They spread fast, pull in capital, and feel like the obvious opportunity.
But access is what actually scales.
For most of the world, the problem isn’t finding a 20% return. It’s being able to access a stable 5–10% in the first place.
US Treasuries.
Money market funds.
Private credit.
These are standard products in developed markets, but out of reach or difficult to access for millions of people globally.
Tokenization changes that.
It lowers minimums.
Removes geographic barriers.
Simplifies distribution.
Suddenly, someone anywhere in the world can access assets that were previously restricted by location, capital requirements, or infrastructure.
And when you zoom out, that’s far more powerful than chasing higher APY.
Because high yields don’t scale. They’re limited by risk, liquidity, and capacity.
Access does.
Give millions of people access to reliable, lower-risk yield, and you unlock far more capital over time than any short lived high return opportunity ever could.
That’s the one of the most powerful things about this upcoming sector.
Not higher returns. Better access to the ones that already exist.

Continue to believe crypto prices will fail to track the growth of this industry until the industry gives up on the old stories that have nothing to do with these areas of growth.
Stablecoins adoption, tokenization of RWAs and DeFi are the future of blockchain... the leading digital assets ($BTC $ETH $SOL and $XRP) accrue no economic value at all from this growth.
This industry needs to start matching the asset to the thesis

@jdorman81 Most tokens are engineered for price, not yield. The fix is architectural. One token tethered to real property — fixed ROI from actual rent. Your floor.

It's embarrassing that token returns are still so highly correlated.
There are at most 5-10 companies in quadrant 1 (good project, good token). If these aren't in your portfolio, I'd be very curious what it is you look for in an investment.
There are a handful in quadrant 3 (good company, bad token). I can understand taking a flyer on these as maybe they will fix the token one day, or they will grow 100x to make their token worth something, but it's really hard to keep betting on tokens that capture little to no economic value from the project's current growth.
I couldn't come up with a lot of examples in quadrant 2 (companies that tried to do right by token holders but just failed as a business)
Which leaves us to quadrant 4 -- where the majority of tokens reside. I really don't understand how these stay afloat. If your project has no revenues, no users, no growth, and the token captures no economic value -- how do you still own it? There are so many better investing options now.

@DefiantLs Property taxes, maintenance, utility bills (trash, sewer, water exc…), security, pest control, are the basics. What about appliances, heating, cooling, furniture, and the kitchen sink to name a few? The “system” should be self reinforcing to benefit everyone.

@tomcrawshaw01 Anyone else experience crashes after install? My bot wanted to run a healthcheck and said everything was fine and then it crashed. I reinstalled a new one and it still crashed again. It’s connected but frozen. Won’t talk.

@sweatystartup @smr294 You sound like the original boomers who were laughing at the idea of online banking. RE tokenization is not only happening, it will make earning passive income secured by income producing assets a reality for everyone.
