$500,000 is the number Once you have that much in a brokerage you can product $7,500-$10,000 a month in option income. Thats taking into account 2-4 trades a month at low deltas & minimal effort. Then life goes on easy mode.

@AugustBTC Yup exactly. You can always be wrong too with direction and time, but can still win the trade as long as it’s not past your strike. Theta is king!

@DarkMiner The way I see it. Buying means you have to be directionally right and each time that goes by and you’re wrong, theta goes against you. With selling even if you’re wrong at least you’re getting paid 😅 daily

I get asked a lot why I prefer selling options over buying. To me it’s just a game of probabilities. One you have the upper hand long term, one you don’t 🤷‍♂️

If your stocks are running and you have puts out there that have reached 80% profit...never a bad idea to book the W. Lots of earnings coming this week that could change market momentum. Tonight we have $TSLA $GOOGL $NOW $IBM

@DarkMiner Quick question – I’m new to option selling. Do you have separate channels/alerts for different account sizes (e.g., $25K, $50K, $100K, etc.)? It would make it much easier for me to track the most relevant alerts for my portfolio size.

Closed out 3 cash secured puts today on $HOOD & locked in $221 from Fridays trades. Once a put hits 85-90% there really is no reason to hold to expiration unless you really want those shares. Tomorrow we look to deploy the $27,300 of capital for another play!

@DarkMiner 30 days of theta doesn't care whether you're eventually right. Most option buyers aren't wrong on direction, they're just early, and the contract expires before the thesis lands.

Time is the one thing every option buyer is guaranteed to lose.
