It is commonplace in the city for the asphalt to be removed in these rectangular patches (this one at the intersection of Seymour and Fairway Avenues). For whatever reason this happens, why do they have to remain unrestored for months, further disrupting the traffic flow?

@RobinsonConroy @RONJMOfficial I park my car sometimes and take public transport too. I get it, nobody likes calling out to the driver to stop. But honestly, your safety matters more than that moment of discomfort. If more passengers start speaking up, drivers will have no choice but to do better.

In a post shared to his Instagram Story, the entertainer tagged Prime Minister Andrew Holness and vented about the cost of fuel, saying the gas price is “ridiculous” and making it clear he is feeling the pressure like many Jamaicans. Podcaster Jhaedee “Jaii Frais” Richards has been charged with shooting with intent and using a prohibited weapon to commit a felony. The charges come after police were given a deadline to either charge or release him by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, following an incident that left him and two others nursing gunshot wounds after a carnival event in St Andrew on Sunday night. Richards, who is represented by attorney-at-law Isat Buchanan, has been in police custody since the shooting incident.
