Missouri Tigers Men’s basketball led the country in transition points per game in 2024-25. Two out of the last four years they’ve finished top 10 in transition offense nationally. This isn’t luck. It’s a system — built on principles that every coach can implement regardless of level. Here are the transition offense principles that Assistant Coach, @mcline_20 Cline and the Missouri coaching staff have built their programme around.

Bad news, dude: If your kid doesn’t play travel/AAU they have no chance of playing varsity in high school. Only exceptions would be small, rural schools without many players to choose from. Any decent sized high school, every kid on varsity plays travel.

New| Come learn about Kennard Davis, who #Mizzou hopes can unlock his potential as a jumbo creator and physical point-of-attack defender in Columbia. rockmnation.com/mizzou-basketb…

I've had two thoughts rattling lately given the #STLCards hot start: 1. Will Chaim Bloom speed up his "long-term" timeline? 2. This must be the most successful rebuild over the last ~15 years.

NEWS: BYU wing Kennard Davis is entering the transfer portal, he told @LeagueRDY. The 6-foot-6 junior spent one season at BYU after playing his first two seasons at Southern Illinois. He started all 32 games he played in this season. Averaged 8.5PPG, 2.7RPG, 1.3APG and 1.1SPG in 2025-26. Averaged 16.3PPG in 2024-25.

All basketball teams are trying to find the sweet spot for size and spacing on the floor. Two Bigs surrounded by shooters is the way to go.

NEWS: LMU transfer guard Rodney Brown Jr. has committed to Seton Hall, his agent Ryan Murphy told @On3. The 6-6 junior averaged 14.0 PPG this season while leading the WCC in made threes with 87, shooting 38.2% from beyond the arc. on3.com/news/lmu-trans…

Weber State transfer Tijan Saine Jr. is hearing from Washington, Missouri, NC State, Mississippi State, San Jose State, LSU and Texas State, his agent Scott Nichols of Rize Management told ESPN. First-team All-Big Sky selection averaged 17.5 points and 4.3 assists last season.
