@Connect_Mani This is exciting News. I wanted to Try Sarvam Models for Coding/Cowork Style Use cases, Will be building a Claude Code type GUI for it to try out.

The critic in the stands always sounds smart. The person in the arena, covered in dust and sweat, building the thing, rarely does. We'll take the arena. Today we're announcing our Series B at $1.5B valuation. For me personally, the story is more about the team than the number.

The most striking thing to me about Sarvam's HQ was how run-of-the-mill it felt. They're located in an Urban Vault building. The lift is slow. The chairs are not fancy. The coffee is meh. And yet, the work they're doing (especially after the Fable 5 unrelease) is some of the most consequential of any AI lab in India. Access to intelligence will likely become less egalitarian as time goes on. It will also be used as a bargaining chip. "Do this, or we'll shut off your access." Right now, America and China have the rest of the world in a stranglehold. Companies like Sarvam lower the stakes and give India sovereignty over homegrown models, while also ensuring that millions of Indians have uninterrupted access to AI models that speak their languages. Clearly, Sarvam's backers (HCLTech, Bessemer, Khosla, and Peak XV) feel the same way.

NHAI rules state: Max 10s wait time per vehicle, max 6 cars per lane, & open new lanes if wait >3 mins. They had other lanes open, but by making us wait so long, a queue built up behind us. Saw a piece of advice on the internet: The best way to learn something is to talk to an AI like you’re on a phone call with someone who knows the subject. Tried it over the past few days and honestly, it’s been surprisingly good. I’ve been going on walks (cool blr nights 😋), hitting my 10k steps, and just having long conversations about random tech rabbit holes. Learning feels much more natural, questions come up organically, and it’s easier to go deeper into topics without feeling like you’re “studying.” Pretty fun way to learn tbh 😁

@karanbhilhatiya Each person should be able to carry their own departments, no Human assistants, no Juniors, All AI assisted. A unified chat group for all people. Only essential chats will be 1 on 1. A Company wide Mission Board where Daily progress/Updates will be shown. Adds Accountability.

what does a modern 5–15 person company look like when you design it from scratch with ai first execution in mind?

@datathecodie Yup, exactly....I guess it just lack of will power between government and startups...! There are also so many factors, we don't even have the 5 layer basic Ai infrastructure.....and above that NVIDIA chip export limitations...!

BTW, why doesn't Sarvam AI get the kind of global attention DeepSeek does..? And please don't give me the usual "we're focused on Indian languages & data" excuse. The reality is, if you're serious about competing globally, the world notices....!
