Getting a handle on this (unintentional) meritocratic Motte and Bailey is really helping me make sense of how to tackle this line of objections. Once you see the two spots clearly the flipping between them is so clearly unjustified.

@CalebYarbrough1 @Lpknmx That’s the motte and Bailey basically. Unintentional but once you see the pivot you can’t unsee it. Ask someone if Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates deserve their fortunes, or argue they don’t and we should redistribute them and you’ll see the move.
