British Airways staff at Gatwick boarded an Airbus about to fly to Malta at Christmas and removed a passenger. They claimed, wrongly, that Sue Heath's passport wasn't valid for the EU. Once again, BA messed up someone's holiday – and then blamed them. 1/2 independent.co.uk/travel/news-an…

@SimonCalder I'd like to be shocked by this, but having waited 7 months for BA to admit they owed me a refund on a cancelled flight, promise to pay said refund, but still not pay it, I'm hardly surprised.

2/2 In September, BA ground staff turned at Gatwick wrongly turned away two separate passengers on the same day. This isn't just one rogue staff member; multiple BA people, including supervisors, sign off these distressing decisions that ignore the rules. independent.co.uk/travel/europe/…

@bbcbristolsport a thoroughly deserved win. Played well first half, just didn’t test the keeper enough. But got our rewards after h-t to get the 3pts. Cool finish from Armstrong. Hirakawa efficient but thought Wells, the match winner, was a pest. Oxford very ordinary.

You walk in a pub and the promotion is first pint free , Toast lager . Sustainable, social enterprise thing, and first one free. At that price I’m happy to save the Planet.

Thoroughly enjoyed being on the mic on Tuesday despite the result. Sad to be missing the first champ game Saturday (wedding season) but over to @FM_ProducerDan to call our first win 🤞
