A little update from us; this Christmas we were together as a family and this year we will still be a family but just structured a bit differently.   Our marriage is coming to end, but we’ve had an amazing 28 years together and two incredible daughters.   We will always be in each other’s lives and are proud of the family we created.   We won’t be commenting further and sincerely hope that our privacy and that of our children will be respected at this time. Yes, they chose that job, but does that mean that almost 980,000 (2023 ONS figures) teachers and teaching assistants should be forced to pay more? Not to mention all the other staff.

@TheAA_UK If you read the whole thread I did go on to say that I understand that. But there will always be someone broken down at the roadside and in a more dangerous position that me, so at what point to I give up waiting and pay for recovery to a garage? Another day? 2 days? All week?

@daveinyorkshire Hi Dave, we're sorry about the wait. We are prioritising Members broken down at the roadside and in dangerous locations whilst demand is so high. If a Member is safe at home we will get out to them soon as possible.

My car won’t start. No problem, I have a @LloydsBank Platinum account which gives me full @TheAA_UK cover including home start. Or it would if their ETA didn’t keep getting pushed back. Currently at 18:40, it started as 13:30.

I understand they prioritise and as I’m safer at home my need is less urgent. But what exactly is the point of home start if nobody can actually come to me? There’ll always be another breakdown on the road somewhere that is a higher priority.

I’ve seen a few agents/agencies posts bragging they have contestants on The Traiters. So, is this show actually for real and regular people to apply to be on or are agents putting people forward? #TheTraitorsUK

Happy New Year! 2024 has been great for my photography and business, not so great for my running and fitness. But I’ve already been putting that last bit right. 2025 brings new beginnings, literally, as I’ll become a grandad in the summer. The thought is still singing in!!

We were told by the managing agent that a cleaner came in every 2 weeks to clean the communal areas. The stairs carpets and bannisters never looked anything but like this!

Yesterday we moved our eldest out of her digs at uni. She’s moving home for her final year as now she drives it will work better with her placements etc. She’s not been at the house for a few weeks and this was the state of the kitchen. She was the only one ever to clean it. 🤢

@ruthiehayes67 Imagine that. Adults making a decision to do what the heck they like in a free country. There are many things I wouldn’t do, this is one of them, but don’t give a toss if others do.
