@jeremykauffman and a large wall map. We have it up in our den/dining/homework room.. I find the map easier for teaching and then the globe for spacial understanding and bringing the info to life. Especially on a countoured globe.

if you have kids, buy a globe it's one of our most frequently used spontaneous teaching tools
