@davewritescodes @JoshWComeau Locale isn't particularly helpful either, because that's just going to tell you where they bought the computer. At the shop, I used to see people with JP/KR/IN locales all the time, because they bought their laptop on a trip, didn't know how to change it, didn't care.

@Kualdir @JoshWComeau Yeah giving the user the option to choose at the beginning of a journey is one way of making sure they see the language they want.

@logokas To play goldeneye well, you absolutely need an OEM N64 stick. Absolutely nothing else comes close.

I hope to god Goldeneye on the switch is decent because I just spent 3 billion dollars buying a switch n64 controller from a scalper. It seems like producing controllers that many people want to buy and making money isn't something nintendo is interested in.

Total blocking time of my new federated application shell design. Using a cloned variation of lululemons site… 10ms. As it stands, the new design outperforms production 5x 💥

@ScriptedAlchemy It’s improved our delivery speed significantly but for some reason our performance metrics that are measured by @getsentry have taken a nosedive. Still need to investigate that further.

@davewritescodes Right now I can either advance the industry or document. And it’s more important to advance industry. It sucks I know. But I’m doing my best 😢it’s just a lot for one person to do. I had to make tough decisions but at least it can be figured out right now.

What if… all my Module Federation technology was open-sourced and backed by a trillion dollar company. Would y’all feel more confident in federated ssr, and Module Federation in general? Would you use it? Assume it would be bundler agnostic too.

@davewritescodes Adding a few 100 pages, videos, live demos, docs, tooling will fix that. And I promise I’ll work with the group to get accessibility to where it needs to be

Besides offline + cache, what do you use service workers for? We're doing a @syntaxfm on the topic and would love to share a few examples

@wesbos @syntaxfm This means our customers can access our web application even if their SIM card has no data left on it. They’re all located in fairly remote parts of the world so this is a really handy offering we can give them.
