One of the things I've noticed about economy class air travel over the last five years or so, is how you almost have to beg for a second drink when the trolley comes round, or dare to approach the staff as they natter in the galley. When the ‘97 financial crisis struck and MAS served a slice of pizza in economy, SIA served (low priced) champagne in economy. My airline of choice since. Admire their guts.

@modernautist but they could at least offer it to frequent economy fliers to hook them on business class flights in the future this is what happened to me 2-3 years ago and once you’ve flown business it’s very likely you’ll want to do it again they just seem to do it very rarely

flying dubai to sydney 80% of business class is empty why would they not sell those seats for dirt cheap or give them away to select economy passengers? all the costs are sunk costs (personal, fuel, food etc.) anyway at the point of departure

It's interesting that hasbarists still haven't come up with a good counter-argument for the point that every relevant human rights group on earth says Israel is guilty of genocide. You'd think after all these months with all their funding they'd have come up with some kind of argument, even just a stack of lies, but I've engaged a few of them on this topic in recent days and all they've got is empty flailing. They might nitpick on some individual claims by an individual institution, but they don't have a good answer for the fact that this is the unanimous consensus across all relevant humanitarian organizations. Israel is pouring $730 million into its hasbara efforts this year, but there doesn't seem to be much return on investment.
