I loved my job at Konga, but a recruiter persuaded me to interview at Booking.com After the final stage, they said they thought I was overqualified for a core UX Designer role and offered me a senior position instead (a first for an external hire) That did it for me

I’m old. It’s official.

I designed a sequence of three artificial neural networks to make a computer reconstruction of the missing parts of the Night Watch from a small copy that was made before it was cut down. The result is now hanging around the painting for the next three months @rijksmuseum!

@endesignonline There must be some way to automate this process. I don’t know, perhaps: - some bot that repeats NN amount of times “wash your teeth”, - a metronome that sets the pace across the different tasks, - an algorithm that predicts “I am thirsty” requests.

The amount of patience, determination, energy, and resilience it takes to get through a bedtime routine each night is a medal-worthy test of character. Send courage and some extra patience, please.
