@TheMattViera Anyone who chooses option 1 may always be alone. Time equals companionship; this is a concept that any normal person can understand, unless they are living alone and want more wealth, in which case option 1 is the only viable choice

Which one are you choosing: 1) $250,000 working 60+ hours per week with 1 week of PTO or 2) $125,000 working 35 hours per week with ~3 months of PTO

@SpursReporter Did anyone ask Wemby about Artermis returning? Would have been nice to hear his thoughts on the mission.

Victor Wembanyama echoed your thoughts about how the Spurs should approach the playoffs to French media last night. But he took it a step further. "I think as a team without experience, we have to approach these matches one after the other. Not to give thoughts to the sweep, the 4-1 or whatever. Obviously, the goal is to win everything, so it's to win the first series. But before that, we have to win the first match."
Gabriel FC@SamRapT

@sousgod27 @SpursReporter I read it clearly, thanks for the insult. Nevertheless it’s the playoffs! This Spurs team shouldn’t care of who they are matched with. Focus on round one then round two then WC finals. Then the finals. The only incentive is to win the championship at the end!

@TheMattViera Or do you mean to say if you do retire in your 50s, you would then rent, drive a Toyota with a Cosco membership?

Honest question: What's the secret to quitting your 9-5 in your 50s without buying rental properties, driving a Toyota, or having a Costco membership? I'm open to suggestions

@SpursReporter What about the consideration of other games when you saw (which Nick didn't) Wemby twisted his ankle real bad (or getting knocked), but continued to go because he was able to.

Nick Wright thinks Wemby came back to play against the Sixers just long enough for the game to count towards the minimum.

For those unfamiliar, players MUST participate in at least 65 games to be eligible for end-of-season awards and honors. Bad news: Wemby has only played 61 games this season. Good news: Wembanyama can still qualify for postseason awards, but he will need to rely on technicalities in the NBA rulebook and approval from the league itself to hit the required 65-game minimum. A game generally only counts toward that total if the player is on the court for at least 20 minutes. Right now, Wemby only has 61 games that meet that strict threshold. The league COULD allow up to two exceptions for games when a player logs between 15 and 19 minutes. Because Wemby played 16 minutes on Monday before leaving with his rib contusion, he can use these exceptions to count two of his shorter games. If the NBA grants both, that bumps his total to 63. Second, his appearance in the mid-season NBA Cup Final officially counts toward the threshold, bringing his total to 64 qualifying games. To officially reach 65 games Wembanyama must play at least 20 minutes in either Friday's matchup against Dallas or Sunday's season finale against Denver.

@SpursReporter @getnickwright Matter of factly, the NBA rule in an overall sense is to encourage players to participate whilst they can, including the minimum minutes. Wemby tried to come back to play, and you know he would have continued to play if he was able to. He has done this in the past.

@Hero_OfThe_Day Would like to see the stats of how many plays Wemby is being challenged at the rim as compared to others. If the sample size is smaller, then the stats is skewed.

If defense is the primary reason Wemby is in the MVP conversation, why does Jokic average 40 head to head on him? 🤔

I'm getting a lot of "watch the games" responses from Spurs fans. I was posting and talking about Wemby when he was 15 already and comparing him to Luka in terms of potential. I watch Wemby, Luka, SGA and Jokic. Wemby just isn't on their level yet. He'll get there, just not yet.

@TheLukaVerse Can't compare to last season when he didn't finish the season. If he did, and as strongly as he is now, he would be in the conversation as well, especially if Spurs could have got to 50 wins. Nevertheless can't compare to last season.

Love Wemby but him begging for the MVP is such a bad look. Generational superstars don’t get handed contenders by year 3, but he did. He will win plenty of awards in this league, but campaigning for it in year 3 is crazy work idc

@realtalkejlt Embiid carried so much baggage with him to that point. Fairly or unfairly, he was an easy target. The fact that he played for a circus of an organisation unfortunately didn't help the clowning that followed.
