The more @GregAbbott_TX talks about outlawing Sharia law, the more Texas towns seem to have an increasing number of Muslim groups who are in favor of it, and city mayors and councils are working hard to make accommodations for these Islamists.
Governor Abbott and the RINOS in the TXLEGE are full of shit. They are allowing the Islamic takeover of Texas.

I have dozens of school teacher friends. 3rd world students who speak little to no English are mainstreamed. It slows the entire class down just trying to accommodate. Our tax dollars should be for Americans only.

GCC and many other private education advocates warned the Texas Legislature that this would happen. Our own Rep, Shelley Luther, and all our so-called Republican reps, ignored the warning and instead voted for socialist school choice and therefore voted for Islamic, Wiccan, LGBT and a variety of other liberal and unchristian private schools to receive Texas taxpayer dollars.
And what you must realize is if they go in and restrict what these schools teach, then precedent will be set to restrict what the Christian private schools and homeschools can teach. Do you see the agenda now?
Do you understand how school choice vouchers lead to the government takeover of private schools?

Most Republicans don't even know that Governor Abbott has been fighting for Open Primaries against his own party by having his appointed Secretary of State Nelson serving at his pleasure try to dismiss the case filed by the Republican Party of Texas.

TEXAS SENATE RACE: One of the best examples of why SOS Nelson and Gov Abbott ought to stop fighting the Texas Republican Party's effort to close its primaries to Democrats is how they elevated James Talarico to a contender for Cornyn's US Senate seat. Talarico helped Democrats install their preferred Texas House Speaker over Republican objections. Dustin Burrows rewarded him with a leadership position. Now Talarico is running for Senate seat with that platform. Left of center Republicans elected via open primaries built his launchpad for him.

Conservatives don’t even bother showing up in numbers to vote…and when they do they are horrificly uninformed on candidates and issues. If legislation is being pushed as “choice” or “anti”, you can guarantee it actually means the opposite.
