@dayone hi there, when I fully switch from iPhone to Galaxy S26 Ultra, can I transfer my account with excisting subscription and the ammount I pay?

@TechRemarker Day One already supports Apple's App Intents and Siri Shortcuts on iOS, so you can use Siri and the Shortcuts app to create, find, and append journal entries today.  We are also looking at deeper integrations announced in iOS 27.

@dayone Last year Apple launched App Intents so that apps can for one, allow Siri to access app data. Did DayOne add that ? As with the beta launch of Siri AI more important than ever. If not yet, will it be ready for iOS 27 launch this fall? Or later?

@TechRemarker Sorry about that, looks like we missed adding a way out on Mac! We'll get that fixed in the next update, but for now you'll have to click Try it to proceed. You don't have to use it though, so the trial will remain until you get around to trying it. Thanks for letting us know!

@dayone How do you "x" out of this popup if you don't want to "try" it right now. Tried read more, but still no way to x out or get back to the app on Mac?

Hey @dayone is there place to do feature requests? I'd like a command that allows us to do basic math in the journal. I'm a marketer so sometimes I start brainstorming CTRs and money things. There is an app called @soulver that would be a good model: "Soulver is a natural language notepad calculator app" so I know it is possible.

@SharkyPD Apple manages App Store downloads and updates, and a few users and developers have reported this issue to them. We hope they resolve it soon. In the meantime, there are some workarounds here: support.apple.com/en-us/102632

@TomasAhlbeck I just verified that is that case. You can ignore that date seen in the UI for now.

@TomasAhlbeck That is most likely an error in how we're presenting the limited Gold update to everyone. Your prior account plan will resume after this.

To @dayone Hello. I have had a lifetime Premium account since many years as a thanks for assisting you with a fatal error you had in your app. Now it says I don't have that, instead I have a trial version of Gold for a week. So is the deal not valid anymore?

@Mauricio9952 The 2026.7.1 update should fix the issue on all iOS devices. Please check that your iPad is updated to that version and let us know if the issue remains. Thanks!

@dayone!!! What the heck is wrong with the app!!! It’s unusable!!!! Every release gets worse than ever!!!!! Current update that introduces trash AI, the app makes my iPhone so freaking warm and lags everything!!!! It’s impossible to use!!!! FIX IT!!!!

@SwissInHKG @BuufJuiced Labs have always been stated as work in progress, and not guaranteed to stick around. All previous Labs features are now live in the app.

@dayone @BuufJuiced And by the way: that comes from a user having first entries in 2010. First time thinking about alternatives.

@dayone just to make sure…. After 10+ years as a power user and bèta tester, I need to pay 55 euro extra (my subscription is 24,99 yeay) to get the gold options???? Nuts!

@BuufJuiced You're able to keep your Premium subscription and use the features included. Gold is a new higher tier with additional features, so it’s priced separately. We will have a trial period where you can test those Gold features to see if you'd like to upgrade or stay with Premium.

@MehtaCognition Thanks for asking. We're actively working on a brand-new CLI for Day One that's fully capable, headless, and open-source. Give us a couple more weeks to refine it, and I'll let you know.

@dayone Any updates on CLI and MCP support? The current skill keeps showing errors, disconnected, etc notifications in Claude. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Doesn't feel like this is fully ready yet??
