If you have your coe/ffl03 you can do C&R firearms with no 10day wait. In state long gun C&R can actually completely bypass the gun shop and you can just accept the gun face to face in a Wendy’s parking lot. (You must register it on CFARS tho) There are also some times when you can get the C&R guns from out of state private party and bring it to California and then register it on CFARS.

Walked into store. Walked out with guns the same day. Neat little example of the benefits of a COE/FFL03 in California
