Do not accept the roles that society foists on you.
Re-create yourself by forging a new identity, one that commands attention and never bores the audience.
Be the master of your own image rather than letting others define it for you.
Incorporate dramatic devices into your public gestures and actions—your power will be enhanced and your character will seem larger than life.

@ItsKieranDrew @JamesClear @RyanHoliday @RobertGreene 3 great writers to aspire to
Robert Green is such a treat, in his writing and speaking
English

I often find myself comparing to people ahead of me.
I look at writers like:
• @JamesClear
• @RyanHoliday
• @RobertGreene
And think, "How the hell will I ever get there?”
But there are two problems.
1. Writing is not about the destination
It's about the journey. Sure, being a massive success would be nice. But the fact you're writing every day is what's special.
Comparison is a thief of joy.
2. You’re looking at the wrong lens
Every great writer began somewhere. Of course, you're going to feel overwhelmed when you compare yourself to someone with 20 years of experience.
The key is not to compare pictures, but movies. You're in a different scene, wrestling with different problems.
Don't feel inferior, feel inspired.
Look for their lessons. Repeat their behaviors. And sit tight.
Writing rewards the persistent.

I want to help 1 million people make a living writing on the internet.
So here's what I'm doing:
For the next 48 hours, I'm giving away my 2 best-selling books for free:
• The Art & Business of Online Writing
• The Art & Business of Ghostwriting
Why?
Because I've spent 10+ years figuring out how to make money as a writer.
(After I was told in college, "Nobody makes a living as a writer!")
And since then, I have generated over $1,000,000 across:
• SaaS ($1m+)
• Agency ($5m+)
• Consulting ($2m+)
• Paid Newsletter ($2m+)
• Self-Published Books ($1m+)
• Cohort-Based Course ($3m+)
• Low-Ticket Digital Products ($2m+)
• High-Ticket Group Coaching ($10m+)
So, yeah...
You can earn a lucrative living as a writer IF you know how.
Which is why I'm giving away my 2 most popular books (so you can start making a living as a writer too!).
Inside these books, I explain:
• Why you shouldn’t start a blog, how to find your voice as a writer, and the exact steps to build a daily writing habit.
• The quickest way to monetize your writing (and get paid to network and learn from industry leaders in your niche).
• The secret to making more money as a writer (so you can escape the freelance writer hamster wheel).
And tons more!
Comment "books" below and I'll DM them to you for free.

Indie hackers meetup in Cyprus 🇨🇾 today.
It feels like Bali in Europe. Everybody is vibe coding something and going to the gym. People are coming from all over Europe and Cyprus locals are super welcoming.
I also go to meet my hero @alexwestco who wrote amazing free books about the entrepreneurship roller coaster.
@dudufolio said it’s the Silicon Valley of Europe and I can see this happening. Talents are leaving northern Europe because of high taxes and complicated rules, and Cyprus is the perfect place to crash. Very interesting to see!

@marclou I'm considering coming to cyrpus this month. Can you recommend any decent accommodations?

Let's meet!
📆 Saturday, Feb 14
🕣 2 pm - 4 pm
📍 Paphos, Cyprus
Casual meetup. We'll stay outside on the coastal walk and talk about whatever is going on at the moment.
RSVP link below. Excited to meet you all!

I moved the startup office to Cyprus 🇨🇾 We've been here for a few days and it reminds of Bali (kind people, lots of gyms + startup scene + good weather) but in Europe (organic food + good AQI + walkable). It's also tax-friendly (12.5% corp tax, 0% capital gains) which makes it a great place to live. We often hear German and English on the streets. We're in Paphos right now, hit me up if you're around!

@cesaralvarezll @marclou The gap is becoming smaller for sure.
Great point with execution and distribution.
Do you know of any communities or cohorts for people starting out?
English

@dazhendrick @marclou If you have coding skills, building things is easier than ever, but they’re no longer a requirement.
Many successful projects are now created by people with no technical background at all.
The real edge, in my opinion, is execution and distribution.
English

@ShirleyTrades Thanks Tim! Do you have a preference between Replit and Lovable? Perhaps you no longer use them. I've been looking for a community to join or some sort of cohort - let me know if you come across anything :)
English

@dazhendrick @dazhendrick Appreciate that, Darren. Replit and Lovable are solid starting points. Once you feel the itch to go deeper, tools like Cursor and Claude Code open up a whole new level. Keep building — the early days are the best part.

For brain health in older adults, a multivitamin is no longer “optional” - it’s a high-priority basic
In three large randomized trials of adults 65+, taking a standard multivitamin like Centrum Silver for one year slowed global brain aging by about 2.1 years and episodic memory aging by almost 5 years
That means better retention of everyday experiences, names, faces, and events (the things families actually notice when memory starts to fade)
Given how common poor diets and micronutrient gaps are, a single daily multivitamin is an easy, low-effort way to protect aging brains

The data on gratitude are surprisingly strong- showing immense mental and physical health benefits. The big surprise: receiving and observing (much more than giving) gratitude is what drives the largest effects. Obviously one requires the other. So give (& receive) gratitude.

Inspired by this episode on gratitude, I built this app to help guide you through the process.
I've been writing gratitude lists for years, so this was a revelation
