@THR Surprise? A $75 million film (plus marketing) doesn’t even make 10% of the money back?
It's a money laundering scheme.

@DougBockClark @propublica A little dramatic don't you think?
This isn't cloak and dagger reporting.
A cop of the search warrant is left at the scene. It's not a secret.
English

1/ NEW: @ProPublica has obtained a search warrant that the FBI is executing for records related to the contested 2020 election in Fulton County, Ga., which has not yet been widely shared. It’s an extraordinary document.

@Bestmodefit Usually you are correct, but not this time, unfortunately.

A U.S. citizen was forcibly removed from her car by federal agents in Key Largo, Florida on Wednesday after she refused to present her driver's license and roll down her window when stopped, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said.
She was placed in a patrol vehicle while agents searched her car, located her driver's license and confirmed she was a U.S. citizen. She was then released.

@cspanwj @FrankLuntz The Dems did the video because it is a real concern - murders off the Venezuelan coast, deployments to American cities - it is not politics to remind troops of their oath, especially in these times when our very democracy is at risk.
English

Q: How did you and the West Point cadets react to the DNC’s message instructing troops not to follow illegal orders?
@FrankLuntz: "My first reaction is 'why the hell did you put this video out?'. …Of course you don't obey an illegal order. You [Democrats] are doing this just to create a political issue, and shame on you."

@atrupar So Trump supports the person who murdered the Minnesota state lawmakers, the person who firebombed Governor Shapiro's residence, the person who murdered the Federal Judge's son, people who tried to kill Capital Police officers (we know he supports them since he pardoned them)?

EARHARDT: We have radicals on the right as well. How do we fix this country?
TRUMP: I'll tell you something that's gonna get me in trouble but I couldn't care less. The radicals on the right oftentimes are radical because they don't want to see crime. The radicals on the left are the problem.

@NateSilver538 How do you explain that Trump's followers seem to care more about tariffs than whether he may have sexually assaulted children?
English

I've refrained from writing about Epstein. But now that I've taken the time to look at the data, I'm skeptical it's having much impact on Trump with his base. There's been no decline at all in Trump's approval ratings with Republicans, for instance.

@FrankLuntz @thetimes Frank - Why have all your posts recently been supportive of Trump. I used to count on getting some unbiased insight from you, not so much any more.
English

Only one word can describe the effect Donald Trump has had on American politics: dealignment.
The Trump phenomonen could define U.S. politics for the rest of the century.
I spoke more with @TheTimes in a full-length feature.

@MarvinDunn4 Times have changed. Decades ago, when I was in college, I went to see my Representative without an appointment. There were half a dozen lobbyists already waiting. The Staff Director came out and asked each of us why we were there. Then she announced "constituent goes first."
English

@Matthewtravis08 Yes. Case in point - Coach Bobby Bowden. I loved him like a father, then he actively came out for Trump and couldn't stand the sight of him.

@FrankLuntz @frankluntz I can't think of a more patriotic act than saving the very democracy that our soldiers sacrificed to defend.

The latest email in my inbox features Democratic leaders spreading the word for today, #MemorialDay, by calling on people to participate in nationwide protests against President Trump – on the same day that the Army is celebrating its 250th birthday.
The email says "this will include demonstrations throughout the country, including in NYC and East Hampton."
East Hampton? Really?
The richest community in America?
So, instead of paying homage to the ultimate sacrifice our soldiers have given to our country and our Constitution, they are mobilizing to participate in partisan political activities on Memorial Day.
Sure, it's their right – but it's so wrong on every level.

I received a fundraising appeal from the @HouseGOP today – on Memorial Day.
It read (in part):
"As I look at our membership numbers, I'm disheartened by the lack of response from our fellow patriots. Despite our repeated calls to action, many have not yet renewed their membership."
Do you think it's appropriate to raise money on a day we should be paying respect to our fallen heroes?
I'm even hesitant to put out this tweet because it's a bit partisan, but I don't know another way to raise concern. Shouldn't today be about genuine remembrance, not politics?
I teach at West Point – what should I tell my cadets?
Please tell me.
