Why do NBA teams always rule players out? What actually stops the Hornets from listing Moussa Diabaté as active but just giving him a DNP unless he is needed, like in a close game or if there is foul trouble or an injury? I see it other sports, but never the NBA

@KeyserTomassi @PotterWorldW Well Snape wasn’t likable at all in the book. The only reason Snape has as big of a following as he does is because Al Rickman’s acting brought in more depth and made him softer…idk if book Snape would have the same painful look.

@PotterWorldW The book was more epic tho cos Snape was fighting 3 of them Mcgonagall, Flitwick and Slughorn but Snape was fending them off.

One of my favorite things that happens when the Hornets play well are the Panthers reporters who have never said a word about the team suddenly fishing for the engagement and know nothing about the team 😂 They hit you with the tweets like “Hornets are good!”

Harry spent seven entire books going after every other girl at Hogwarts while never expressing the slightest interest in Hermione. Harry literally has more chemistry with Myrtle the toilet ghost than he does with Hermione. But Ron was infatuated from the moment he laid eyes on her. Did you not read “Goblet of Fire”? Ron was playing mind games with Hermione by not asking her to the Yule Ball and then Victor Krum asked her first, and she accepted, and Ron absolutely lost his mind. Then Ron and Harry asked Parma and Parvati but completely ignored them at the dance because Harry was obsessed with Cho Chang and Ron was obsessed with Hermione. The entire Black Lake challenge was about Harry and Ron being cucked, because Cedric was sent to rescue Cho, Krum was sent to rescue Hermione, and Ron had to be rescued and Harry had to rescue Ron. Also, in “Order of the Phoenix,” Rita Skeeter wrote in the Daily Prophet that Hermione was Harry’s girlfriend and Harry was icked out while Ron was jealous and furious. If you were shipping Harry with Hermione, that is your fault, because it was never once implied by the source material. Ron and Hermione ending up together is their whole seven-book arc.

@agent8911 @trappanthers I do see the upside though for Freeling and he is worth picking at 19 if he fell, but given the choice, I think Fano will be the better starter day one wherever they place him. Which would be more aligned with where the team is.

@agent8911 @trappanthers Fano could play all 5 spots on the OL, very athletic, and has a higher floor with a good ceiling. More of a sure thing. Freeling has the traits, but he’s more of an upside pick, which is why I didn’t understand why some want to put him at LT this season when it will be rocky.

@truzzbuzz @tvrren_ I think that if you want Moussa out there, you have to have a bigger PF to pair with him or a C that can also shoot and make him a Dennis Rodman like 4…but I agree, he is limited and against teams like Cleveland and Detroit shows it.

Exactly! And JD isn’t the only one. And people aren’t understanding the difference between isolating how good Moussa is as a center in the NBA and how good the team around him can be. If Kon, Melo, and Brandon end up being superstars around Moussa then of course they can get away with him at center. But right now, he’s good enough but if the Hornets get stuck at a 5 or 6 seed I bet the will look to improve the center position. Maybe the PF position

Moussa is not a long term starting center right now. If he gets better then fine. He works well for us now because the Hornets are a young team trying to figure out winning. But I promise you unless the Hornets get some high-end talent elsewhere so that we can cheap out on center, Moussa is not going to be a starting center for a team that’s fight for a top 4 seed. It works now sure but I’m speaking in the sense of a contending team or a team aspiring to be contenders.
