The one thing I like about LIV that I can't stand about the PGA is that the PGA plays a lot of these garbage courses. LIV is at Asiad this week and at Valderrama next week. The PGA should really look at getting rid of some of these lower tiered events at less prestigious courses

I mean, just look at who's playing it. People vote with their feet. And I don't have any issue with the Colonial as a club. And when I say mid-tier, I kind of reserve the top-tier for like Oakland Hills, Oak Hill, Shinnecock, Augusta, Winged Foot, etc. The people I know who play it, like it but they put it in a different tier than those other places

You just hit it to the small landing spot and have the same approach every time

See, this would be fine if you take out either the tree or the bunker, but having both of them having to be shaped around from the fairway is bad design, IMO
