Hello, Thanks for reporting the issue. The stretch from Janakpuri to Kirti Nagar falls in two Zones i.e West Zone (From Janakpuri to Mayapuri) and Karol bagh (Kirti Nagar). An encroachment removal action was carried out on 14.05.26 by West Zone. Hello, Thanks for reporting the issue. As reported by concerned Maintenance Division, the work was done by DJB. The estimate has been sent to DJB for road restoration which is still awaited. However, the road has been levelled with the help of jcb and water sprinkling is being done on regular basis for dust mitigation (Photo Attach).

Hello, Thanks for bringing the issue to our notice. MCD takes regular action in the area. The last action was taken on 16.4.26. A letter also sent to the area SHO to keep strict vigil in the area so the vendor is not encroached on the road / municipal land again (Copy Attach). The next action will be scheduled soon with the coordination of Delhi police.

Respected Ma'am & Sir, I would like to know,why can't we have smooth traffic management & encroachment free zones from residential societies. As per Hon'ble Supreme court of India, No Shops are allowed in Residential locality. WEf, not applied till now. For instance, This is Vikaspuri D Block,Smt.Premvati Sharma Marg, DG2, towards Vikaspuri Police Line,Hastal LIG Flats & Vikaspuri apartments. Why, authorities can't take action, isn't Vote bank politics or allegedly Bribe Culture of officials. If you're not being able to take action, atleast remove traffic. Police also aware about this matter. Please provide encroachment free roads to Drive & smooth access for emergency vehicles.We're paying taxes for facilities. Hello, Thanks for bringing the issue to our notice. There are 23 nos. of MCD approved Tehbazarri Sites (Kiosks) in the stretch mentioned in the complaint. Further, MCD conducts regular encroachement removal drives in the area in coordination with Delhi Police. Last encroachment removal drive was carried out on 27.04.2026 (Photo Attach) and keep vigil letter also sent to concerned SHO to prevent re-encroachment.
