@SecondSonsCA The Humboldt tragedy isn’t a political prop for your recruitment drive. Exploiting a national scar to push "Our People" rhetoric is the ultimate disrespect. Ottawa didn't forget you’re just using the dead to build a platform. Honoring them means silence, not a sales pitch.

HONOUR HUMBOLDT As the tragedies continue to pile up on Canada's now deadly roads, Second Sons Canada pays respects to the Humboldt Broncos on this 8th anniversary of the crash. Canadian politicians promised that they would never forget. They lied, and the horrors continue. If we let Ottawa forget about Humboldt, they will have died for nothing. We will not let them forget. 🍁OUR PEOPLE 🍁 OUR HOME 🍁 OUR FUTURE Visit our website for more information, an FAQ and application intake forms at secondsons.org

Why does the government have to drop their taxes off gas? Why can the oil companies just drop their prices? Taxes buy Canadians things but oil company billion dollar profits doesn't do anything for us.

@by__brittany Wages are high. Thats it. Most of the cost of running a hotel are just hiring people to clean, cook, do room service, etc.

@Michael7ucci Defend Western Civilization from what? From people Americans pissed off? Nah. When your next 9/11 happens, I expect my government to not lift a finger to help you If Trump nukes Iran the U.S. will be to blame for the fall of civilization. It won't be Canada's lack of assistance

Rather than contemplate the obvious possibility that America is preparing to defend Western Civilization and that maybe Canada should prepare to help, this Canadian professor made up a conspiracy theory to explain away a proposed 50% US increase in war spending.
Timothy Snyder@TimothyDSnyder

Why does Trump want to increase the defense budget by almost 50%? Because he sees it as a payoff to the guys who will help him establish his dictatorship of convenience.

@CTVNews The parts we are assembling came from forced labour. That puts us in direct contravention of CUSMA. Carney's marriage to China Is an assault on Canadian values...

@CTVNews China uses Canadian polyethylene to produce a lot of manufacturing. Importing and exporting from China creates a lot of transportation sector jobs. Assembling Chinese parts still creates jobs. Lastly the reduced cost of living on Canadians that Chinese vehicles would bring. Helps

Today, officers are present at Easter in the Park at Canatara. PSD Vader is observing the festivities while staying dry (for now). The event had a delayed start due to the rain this morning and will now end at noon. We encourage you to join this beloved community event if you are able.

I studied history to be a teacher Having seen my motherland devalue Indigenous people in a U.S.-backed civil war was a factor, but Schindler's List and meeting a holocaust survivor made me focus on WWII I NEVER imagined Israel would dehumanize and hunt humans like the Nazis did

Israel is explicitly warning Christian and Druze residents in southern Lebanon not to hide Muslim residents among them as their forces advance. Not a peep from Sheryl Sandberg.

I couldn’t help but stop in to taste a little bit of home and celebrate one of Canada’s most iconic brands while in Austin. I learned about how Tim Hortons plans to grow across Texas. It’s great to see a company with deep Ontario roots having a global impact.
