PROSCRYPTA.mp3 Sound is an essential element, present in our biological processes, in the environment, and in everyday life. It cuts through existence as an invisible and inevitable substance. If music can be thought of as liquid architecture, and architecture as frozen music, then perhaps our universe is, almost literally, an expanding symphony. Taking a transdisciplinary and experimental approach, this program brings together artists from different backgrounds and sound-based practices, creating unique atmospheres through music composition software, artificial intelligence generators, analog noise, and other methods that emerge in this latent age of remix. At a historical moment marked by a shortage of people willing to listen attentively, we seek to revive the experience of sound appreciation as a collective and necessary gesture. The program moves across the universes of sound art, noise, experimental music, and remix, with special attention to the .mp3 format — taken here both as a formal constraint and an aesthetic provocation. The simplicity and ubiquity of the digital file remind us that music — in any medium — is a body in vibration, traversing matter and memory. Throughout the program, we will sit together to listen to each work, establishing a time for attentive listening, followed by intimate conversations with guest artists, who will share their creative processes. As a final gesture, everything will transform into a collective remix led by viniiiiiiiicius, condensing the shared experiences into a new layer of sound. More than opposing noise and melody, our aim is to expand listening toward abstraction. The presence of machines and their interfaces widens the pathways of creation, revealing possibilities that traverse both the materiality of sound and its political and affective dimensions. This gathering is not a conventional exhibition, but an opportunity to experience sound as a shared immaterial architecture. —------------------------------------- Works and links below ⬇️

tenho ansiedade 2 The creation process was fun, but also very intense. I’ve been working a lot and found it difficult to dedicate myself to the mixing stage, which was where I struggled the most. The first step was composing the melody on the Toxic Biohazard synth, since it set the melancholic vibe I had in mind. Next, I created a few variations of it, plus another one on Surge XT, which I arpeggiated using a metallic percussion from producer IGLOOGHOST’s kit, adding more complexity to the sound. After shaping and connecting the melodies on the synthesizers and swapping out their textures, I moved on to percussion. The “glitch” kicks — the more exaggerated ones — were the first I created. They are sharp in certain parts and stand out a lot. The second beat I built was the main jersey club base; I find that style really fun, and the heavy bass is always present. Both kicks were constructed with an 808 on Surge XT as well. After all the mixing, I wrapped it up with special sound effects from PS2 video games, like Saint Seiya – The Hades and Teen Titans. I also used some effects from producer SOPHIE<3’s kit. I externalized a lot of what I was feeling, which is why I named it I Have Anxiety 2. I had already made I Have Anxiety 1, which is more contained and only explodes at the end, while this one, which bursts out in several moments, illustrates better what I feel. I like dance music, pop music, funereal music, metallic sounds, gothic synthesizers, 8-bit — and I hope that came across clearly. ⊙▂⊙ ♬⋆.˚♬⋆.˚this work is part of proscrypta.mp3♬⋆.˚♬⋆.˚ 29/30 10xtz teia: teia.art/objkt/873342 objkt: objkt.com/tokens/hicetnu…

Spain and Italy both deployed navy vessels to defend the Global Sumud Flotilla from insistent attacks today. The waters of the mediterranean sea are once more the stage of history. Make no mistake: this is the result of people taking it to the streets. Those who say that demonstrating is useless just want to you to stay home doomscrolling and believing you are powerless.

guudtrypsession This is a sound piece in which I invite the listener to experience what I understand as a good trip. The setting emerges from an intimate recording, a session of sonic experimentation in which I allowed myself to access other layers and states of consciousness. The work proposes itself as the space where everything unfolds: a wide room with a dusty, almost macabre piano that nevertheless fulfills its role of translating sensations and opening paths to new ones. Within this room, stimuli and insights arise like notes and impressions of the journey — traces that expand the dimensions of the experience. In the process, I realized that the initial moment, the point of departure of the recording, expanded until it concluded as a graphic summary, almost dissected, of all the sensations of that session. This flow, unconsciously, became its final purpose: to share what was created in the silence of that instant and still reverberates here, in this work. Enjoy. ♬⋆.˚♬⋆.˚this work is part of proscrypta.mp3♬⋆.˚♬⋆.˚ 29/30 10xtz teia: teia.art/objkt/873346 objkt: objkt.com/tokens/hicetnu…
