Now Japan is the only country in the western world that is still noticeably itself. This is really the entire wonder of contemporary Japanese tourism—to visit a country that is still wholly itself, that does not have a large hostile migrant population slowly sieging it down.

For decades the political class in the west joined China in arrogantly shaming Japan for not raping itself with guilt the way that Germany did after the war. The scandal of Yasukuni shrine. They revere and honour their war dead. There is no holocaust bogus war propaganda inculcated into the national psyche or national curriculum of self-hatred. No cult of “the other”. That is why wokeness never took there. Now Japan is the only country in the western world that hasn’t raped itself with migrants. It’s a shining beacon of pragmatic racism and sensible nationalism.

@grampico_ In Australia we often barbeque beef sausages at events - a "sausage sizzle". It's a sausage, white bread, onion and sauce (usually tomato sauce). During elections, charities raise funds with a sausage sizzle outside the voting booth, so we call those a "democracy sausage".
