D4vd went on Amazon and purchased a couple of chainsaws after he stabbed Celeste Rivas and stood by while she bled out, according to prosecutors.
Prosecutors allege he ordered her an Uber to his home, then stabbed her multiple times. He put her body in an inflatable pool in his garage to catch the blood, then dismembered her with a chainsaw.
He bought the pool under a fake name—plastic fragments from it were later matched to her remains. He then texted and called her phone after she was already dead to fake an alibi.
Her remains were found in two bags in the trunk of his abandoned Tesla in the Hollywood Hills, one day after what would have been her 15th birthday.
The alleged motive was that she threatened to expose their relationship and destroy his career the night before. He dropped his debut album Withered two days later.
Prosecutors also say the ~40TB of evidence includes child pornography found on his phone. He faces life without parole or the death penalty.

He did die from fentanyl. I've been over this a lot in the past but the real thing everyone should be asking is why it took EMS 13 minutes to go 2 blocks after Chauvin called for EMS 30 seconds into Floyds arrest.

PlayStation support has confirmed that a new digital rights management policy for the console is intentional, not a glitch. Starting with any digital games purchased after the March 2026 system update, your PS5 will require an internet connection at least once every 30 days to validate the license. If the console stays offline longer than that, the games simply will not launch until you reconnect. This change does not affect any titles already in your library. Setting a console as your primary system also will not bypass the monthly check-in.
