@irimtated It’s on Sky isn’t it? So I won’t see it. Which is a shame. Book is excellent as is the original film (which I’ve watched again recently on catch up somewhere)

The CofE does pretty well in terms of safeguarding training. But it’s a complete disaster when it comes to dealing with safeguarding failures of which there are many. Think of it like a health service that focuses entirely on prevention, but completely fails anyone who is sick.

Some news from the monastery: a couple of weeks ago, my request to make Life Vows was accepted by the Community! The service itself will take place in mid-December; before then, there is lots of prep to do. Exciting and daunting in equal measure!

Could all the @churchofengland #bishops tweeting about disability & euthanasia get involved with fighting the targeting of disability benefits please? Otherwise it looks like anti ‘death’ rather than pro ‘life’
