ANOTHER HACK 🚨 I would advise to stop interacting with ANY DeFi dApp for the coming days as there is an ongoing incident on Vercel related to stolen Github and NPM keys. If the claims are true, frontends could get compromised from Github or from supply chain attacks. These are the attack vectors used to hack bybit or compromise Ledger’s Connect Kit. Stay safe chat.

The size of a mint is not relevant to my question but appreciate you explaining, the reason I ask is (as you will know as a dev) doesn’t matter how good a product is if there’s no marketing. Would love to understand more about the lead up to the mint, I minted over 1 million NFTs in 2024 maybe I could offer some help next time this comes round that might help you guys 🤝

It was an infinite mint. I think a total of 80-90 people minted. The funds went into the pool for the winners along with another $5k so the mint was essentially free with the chance to win quite a bit. It was sponsored by @AvaxTeam1 and @bears_salmon. @g1raffe_ is the founder and brains behind it.

Another great article by @0xSmitty. He’s right that there are plenty of chains out there actively competing for users, and @megaeth’s incentive program starting in a few weeks is just one example. The competition for attention, liquidity, and actual users is real. As the dev behind @avaxbingo, it was honestly disappointing to see only 184 total cards minted, with 20% of those coming from just a handful of users, especially when minting was effectively free for most people since over 50% of the cards paid users back just for minting. At some point, AVAX has to decide whether it actually wants to support and retain real users. Because if it doesn’t, there are plenty of other chains that will be more than happy to.
