Tonight Labor passed a bill to subsidise the importation of oil from overseas.
Because of Labor's war on fossil fuels, AUSTRALIAN taxes are being used to support OVERSEAS production and jobs.
Labor refused to support our amendments to support the production of DOMESTIC oil and gas jobs.
Why is Labor using our taxes to support overseas jobs but not Australian jobs?

Worth revising Staley’s history. She:
- Lost Ripon despite spending >$100K of own money
- Unsuccessfully ran for Lib state director
- Was key to Pesutto’s strategy on Deeming
- Got only a handful of votes in E Metro preselection to replace Bach
- Lost W Vic #2 preselection on Sat
Rachel Baxendale@rachelbaxendale
Another totally normal response to Moira Deeming’s ousting, this time from defeated Ripon MP & former Pesutto CoS Louise Staley, who was integral to his strategy on Deeming. On Sat she lost preselection fight for #2 in W Vic. Yes, that’s Lily Allen’s “F- you v much” she’s playing

@TruthTrumpPost Albanese says it’s a fuel crisis. Bowen says there are no supply issues. It’s a crisis of their own making. Grossly insufficient reserves, grossly insufficient refining capacity. And the ideological insanity of effectively banning domestic oil and gas production. @ljayes

@philmupp1 Well done @ljayes for finally demonstrating Labor’s deceitful spin. Great journalism 👏👏👏

Laura Jayes on Sky News AM Agenda in a heated interview with the Labor Govts Tim Ayres and one can readily imagine a Kath and Kim journalist/ politician interaction- 'Look at moi, look at moi Minister. What does that pacifically entail'?

@senbmckenzie He was holding off to see which way the political landscape was moving, not to save $50 Million.
Still does not change the dry bowsers for which he is responsible.

It has taken Labor 3 days to accept the Liberal/National Coalition's call to halve the fuel excise and the heavy vehicle road user charge. In that time, the Government has collected an extra $50 Million in fuel tax revenue.

Labor raised another $50 million extra in excise while they waited 3 days to respond to our call to halve the excise.

#BREAKING: the PM announces the halving of the fuel excise for three months, saving 26.3c/litre at the pump. Heavy vehicle user charges will also be removed for three months. @10NewsAU

@rachelbaxendale This has all the hallmarks of a false flag operation by another political party well versed in factional politics, designed to further destabilise the Liberal Party.

#BREAKING: The man who ousted Moira Deeming has been forced to withdraw his candidacy following revelations he provided a character reference for a convicted child sex offender, throwing the Vic Liberal party’s preselection process into turmoil. #springst theaustralian.com.au/nation/victori…

@SenatorCash excellent interview with @aclennell Clear explanations highlighting the Government’s massive failure to present consistent transparent statements of its plans to deal with the fuel crisis. Disappointed that Clennell did not ask Murray Watt about addressing the legislative and judicial obstacles that are preventing the exploration and production of our own oil and gas in Australia.
English

@aclennell @SkyNewsAust Murray Watt, What steps will Australia take to remove the legislative and judicial barriers to oil and gas exploration and development in the future?

@TruthTrumpPost Another massive message machine. Setup to manipulate public opinion.

@tonytardio Chalmers wrote his doctorate on Paul Keating, whose economic policies produced interest rates of 19-21%. Is this where we are heading?
English

No, it’s the Federal Labor Govt putting pressure on our supply chains. They have wilfully chosen not to comply with our 90 day reserve requirement, to allow all but two refineries to be closed, and substantially banned oil and gas production, leaving the country insanely exposed to entirely predictable global supply upheavals. @Jacquifelgate
English

It’s not a shortage of fuel that’s putting pressure on Australia's energy supply chains... 📈

@AlboMP ‘Tsar’? Strange choice of title by a Socialist Left Prime Minister given what the most famous socialist left/communist government did to its tsar in Russia? @TomElliott3AW @tonytardio

We’ve set up a new Fuel Supply Taskforce, led by Anthea Harris.
Working with states and territories, the taskforce will make sure fuel gets where it’s needed most.
It will bring together experts and industry to protect our fuel supply, and make sure we have the latest information on supply and demand.
English

If Anthony Albanese really wanted Australia to be ‘over-prepared for fuel price shocks, he would never have:
1. effectively banned oil and gas exploration and production;
2. allowed our oil refineries to be shut down;
3. allowed our fuel reserves to fall below 90 days.
