Dear Irish Times You didn’t ask me on but discussed me and my work in detail so let me assist on the question posed in your heading and a few other gaping holes. 1. I am the CEO of an organisation called @TheCountessIE. We incorporated a number of years ago. I am one of three directors. 2. We weren’t “involved in a failed Referendum” but this description from @IrishTimes is quite the tell. For us as grassroots leaders of a No/No campaign that spanned 30 locations over 7 weeks, this was a landslide victory. We view the 73.9% who voted to retain A41.2 as our constituency. 3. Our constituency do not want men in female spaces or services, prisons or shelters, sports or quotas. They know a man cannot be a woman and equality is predicated on certain accommodations like single sex spaces which provide safety, dignity and privacy for women and girls. They do not want their children indoctrinated into gender, or any other ideology at school. Far from being a twitter constituency as you describe, they are the majority. 4. Our advocacy stopped the Government removing the word woman from Maternity legislation. Our advocacy stopped the rollout of mixed sex toilets in schools. Our advocacy helped defeat the planned collapse of the gender ground and transposition of hate speech. 5. We have evolved to address the impact of immigration which like trans, is a sacred pillar of the new left that the electorate were not allowed to vote on. We observe how the media behaves the same way with regard to each of these issues. 6. We are alive to, and well versed in, the use of an ad hominem response because we dare challenge the narrative. 7. We know we represent the majority and will continue the work. 8. The work has been recognised globally. @TheCountessIE has addressed/briefed the UN alone three times, the EU parliament, Houses of Parliament, US Assistant AG among others. 9. Thank you for the ongoing coverage of the issue at hand which is the risk presented to women and children by the policy of housing unscreened male migrants en masse in residential areas. Le meas, Laoise de Brún BL

FUTURE LAWSUITS - WHO IS LIABLE - TEACHERS, PRINCIPALS, BOARD OF MANAGEMENT? Is the Department of Education willing to accept this risk of liability when the collateral damages pile up?
Natural Womens Council@NaturalWomensIE

WILL THE SCHOOL'S INSURANCE COMPANY COVER DAMAGES? We sent a letter to Allianz insurance today. Many parents are upset with the age inappropriate harmful content being taught in schools and are considering taking a legal case. __________________________________________ To: Allianz Insurance Re: Request for written clarification of policy coverage and liability Dear Sir/Madam, We are writing to request written clarification regarding the scope of coverage and liability under the insurance policy held by schools. These questions concern both compliance-related matters and the school’s duty of care in relation to student welfare and safeguarding. 1. Compliance with Department of Education requirements Could you please confirm whether a school’s insurance cover would remain valid in the event of an incident where a child is harmed and the school is found not to have: -an approved Risk Assessment, -a current Child Safeguarding Statement, or -other required documentation or sign-offs from the Department of Education? If such documents were incomplete, missing, or not implemented in practice, would this affect indemnity, and to what extent might the school, its Board of Management, the principal, or staff be exposed to personal liability? 2. Coverage relating to educational and wellbeing practices We would also appreciate clarity regarding situations where a school adopts practices or educational content that may be considered inconsistent with current medical best-practice guidance, including but not limited to the Cass Report[1] or the HHS Report [2].  For example, teaching children that they can be “a boy, a girl, neither or both” or bringing in third parties to teach them about ‘top surgery’, ‘bottom surgery’, or being ‘transgender’ or ‘non-binary’. Furthermore,  if a school socially affirms a student who expresses gender-related distress (including use of new pronouns or a different name), and this is later alleged to have contributed to harm, psychological injury, or future medical interventions, would: -the school, -the Board of Management, -the principal, or -individual teachers be indemnified under the existing policy? There is also content that is not age appropriate, including but not limited to chapters on detailed masturbation and group activities talking about ‘forced, painful and violent sex’, and anal sex that that violates Ireland’s own Children First Act 2015. More specifically, would the insurer consider such actions within or outside the scope of the school’s duty of care, and are allegations of negligence, failure to follow safeguarding protocols, or reckless decision-making covered? 3. Clarification of exclusions If there are any policy exclusions, limitations, or additional requirements that apply to the above scenarios, please outline them in writing. We would be grateful for a detailed response so that we can understand the extent of protection offered by the policy and any obligations on the school to maintain coverage. You may be aware of the recent lawsuits in the USA and UK whereby minors have been harmed and some have been awarded significant legal costs. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]  As this content is being taught in schools in Ireland, if there is any circumstance in which Allianz would not cover damages, we respectfully urge you to communicate this clearly to schools so that they can take appropriate steps to mitigate risk. We represent 100,000 parents across our network - several parents have approached us to advise their children are being harmed in school, coming home severely anxious and traumatised and they are considering taking a case. If you should need to see copies of some of the material we have referenced, we have numerous school textbooks we can recommend for you to see. Our shared objective is to safeguard children, ensure that schools act within a clear and legally sound framework, and minimise the potential for harm, financial damages, and costly litigation. Clear guidance from your office will assist schools in understanding their obligations and taking proactive steps to reduce exposure while prioritising student welfare. Thank you for your assistance.  We look forward to your reply. MINISTER DOESN'T MENTION THAT HER HUSBAND'S RELATIVES COMPANY BENEFITS FROM HSE BUDGET By Susanne Delaney At 17 seconds: note the exaggerated hair flip and head toss given at the exact moment you hear that little Irish girl Roxanne's parents had to crowd fund for life changing spinal surgery in the US because she was inexplicably removed from a waiting list in Ireland. This is the only toss Jennifer Carroll MacNeill will ever give about Roxanne, and it is a "couldn't be bothered" one. A "transition/dismissal" move (a quick hair flip) can indicate a desire to change the subject, move on, or "reset" the interaction, can also indicate dismissiveness, contempt and irritation). She looks at Ben here like a lizard surveying an insect (as he asks about why none of the HSE budget could be allocated to Roxanne). Cold, blank, emotionless. She goes on here about where all the money goes (€27 billion per year) in a manner that would seem to indicate it comes from her own pocket. The money goes on this and that, but somehow the money just can't be found for Roxanne or children like her, whose childhoods have been effectively stolen by this government. The minister failed to talk about how some of the health budget pays her husbands relatives who own CPL healthcare, and who likely receive thousands per health care worker they recruit (I'm sure the background and qualifications checks are real thorough...given all that money to potentially look the other way). MacNeill has publicly denied having personal financial ties to CPL, stating that she, her parents, and her husband do not own shares. STILL SEEMS LIKE A MASSIVE CONFLICT OF INTEREST that ANYONE in her family would be benefiting from the HSE budget in a profiteering sense while she is Health Minister, no? In 2020, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill stated she had "no knowledge" at all of CPL's HSE contracts. I find this claim really difficult to believe. In the clip below, the minister breezes through her rote memory script. Without apparent empathy, remorse, or regret. She will get a pat on the back for that. She does as she is told for her big pay packet. Despite a healthy budget, our health system is not safe and not functioning. Maybe if they didn't spend so much money on public private "partnerships," the money would stretch more? Remember when the HSE used to directly provide homecare instead of using private companies, for example? It was cheaper, and it was far better care (as profits and cheap labour were not the number one goal). Just to add here that while I am thankfully not in Roxanne's parents position, my 9 year old child was referred to Temple Street for a necklace ultrasound on persistent enlarged lymph nodes and I did not receive an appointment letter. I reverted back to my GP, who contacted the hospital. They then wrote back, refusing to scan my child. A different doctor did initially try to make excuses for the refusal but then admitted to me (when I pushed) that this is likely because of long waiting lists rather than a clinical decision (the hospital shouldn't contradict a GP referal). This second doctor subsequently found another enlarged node and seemed surprised at this. He also attested she should be scanned. I had to investigate which clinics do a paediatric scan and found only one (The Beacon). The cost is €250 which, as a low income household, I don't have (but will have to find). Furthermore, despite it being a private clinic, my child has to wait until at least April (possibly the end of) because they have a backlog. Probably because she isn't the only one who has been refused a public scan. How many more children in need of scans have been refused even after a GP referral? How many of them could have a serious issue, and how many families won't be able to afford to have any potential issues diagnosed on time? Finally, how long will it be before we realise what's really happening to all our public money, as children are left abandoned?

Dear Editor & Readership of the Irish Times. It is somewhat refreshing to read your article of 12/2/26 that refers to me and to my Twitter account, and more specifically to two Twitter posts that were posted on my account several years ago, and are no longer available even to confirm context or content. Over 5yrs of long form publications published on line in 'Cassandra Voices' and elsewhere by me in respect of Covid Science -and my letters to your paper in respect of Covid policies -were all ignored by your paper throughout the pandemic period. Your focus on two tweets taken out of context and possibly made under the influence of alcohol; would be thoroughly hilarious were it not for the fact that it is an obvious attempt at a character assassination, and a preamble to the usual form of 'cancel culture' that your paper has applied (and continues to apply), to anyone; physician, scientist, politician, Journalist or otherwise, who might dare to disagree with the sacred doctrines of wokeism or the established Covid dogma, as curried by your paper throughout and to this very day. Publications such as yours (at home and abroad) have consistently denied contrary opinions to established views in respect of the medicine of covid and the politics of Ireland. The former is usually described as a 'conspiracy theorist' or 'anti-vaxer', and the latter -irrespective of history or credential credential - is generally dismissed as a 'right wing' extremist. Your article fills me with sadness; not in respect of the hurt it attempts to deliver to myself and my family, that was accomplished several years ago and is merely being reinforced today. Instead, your article hurts because it is yet another dictate, applied purely to deprive Covid policies of any revision. It is an attempt to deprive the victims of lockdowns or vaccines, of any voice, or any imperfect advocate. You have deprived 'US' whomever we might be, of a place at the table, where public discourse might serve as the antidote to public division. It is your selection of those allowed to the table that has paralysed political evolution and divided our society into the arbitrary camps of Left and Right. When in truth, we are all united in the pursuit of faith, hope, and kindness. Thank you for your recent publication. If the capacity to 'look deeper' or to 'think independently' still persists within our divided society - then perhaps as they say : 'there is no such thing as bad publicity.' Yours etc Dr Marcus de Brun.

Urgent: The European Parliament will vote on February 12, 2026 (12:00 PM, Strasbourg time) on a report that, under the pretext of promoting the status of women, calls for "the full recognition of trans women as women". First, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as well as other international human rights instruments, when talking about the human person, refer explicitly to the "equal rights of men and women". There are no other sex-based categories than men and women when we refer to a human person. Redefining "woman" in law in a way contrary to human nature will create legal uncertainty and undermine hard-won protections for actual women. Second, policies that remove human sex-based distinctions will (and already do) have consequences for single-sex spaces such as women’s bathrooms, shelters, prisons, and sports. These protections exist because, being different from men or boys, women and girls have unique vulnerabilities and deserve safety, fairness, and dignity. Third, women’s rights were secured legally through decades of struggle. Law and policy should not dilute but reinforce those protections. Recognizing legally that a man who pretends to be a woman is a woman undermines the very essence of our civilization and the progress made in protecting the rights of actual women. If you want your wives and daughters to be protected in Europe and to stop this assault on womanhood, contact your MEPs ASAP to vote against this report: europarl.europa.eu/doceo/document… #ProtectWomen #SexNotGender #WomensRights @elonmusk

PLEASE NOTE VENUE CHANGE! Hi everyone. The Medical Council has changed the venue for my Fitness to Practice Hearing. It will recommence tomorrow morning Tuesday 10th Feb at 10AM. The Public Hearing will continue: 10th 11th and 12th Feb. At: The Medical Council KINGRAM HOUSE KINGRAM PLACE DUBLIN 2 DO2 XY88 I sincerely hope the case against me will be concluded at last. It has been a long five year ordeal for myself, my family, and my colleagues -for those already punished, and those who are still under investigation for speaking out. I will be attending the hearing with my colleague Dr Billy Ralph, whose Fitness to Practice Hearing has been scheduled for sometime next month. I sincerely thank you for your prayers and your support. I'm not sure if I would still be standing without you. There is a bigger fight behind all of this, and you know what I mean when I say that: there is a much higher court than the courts of men and women -There, a great many of the verdicts made in this world will certainly be overturned. See you at Kingram House tomorrow Sincerely Marcus

Oh, FFS. The determination to get men in to women’s spaces is sick. Once upon a time, women had to campaign for & create our own spaces. We did it. At any point, men who like skirts are welcome to do the same. Just do something, anything, other than demanding women’s submission.
