Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has withdrawn from the governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC), slated for Thursday.
In a statement entitled ‘My decision to withdraw from the Rivers State Gubernatorial Primaries’, which he personally signed on Wednesday night, Fubara stated that he would support whoever emerged as the candidate of the party.

@Jack_ng01 Why the weak coward doing "hide 'n' seek" ?
If he's still constitutionally qualified, let him hide his shame and incompetence, and come out with his full chest for the contest, once and for all.
Next, please...

@SodiqTade Just believe whatever pleases you and stop thinking.

I’m an APC member, but it’s seems any leader who moves into the APC begins to lose their brain cells.
Your IQ begins to reduce, you become less intelligent and insensitive to human suffering.
E.g Plateau State Governor, since he joined APC, he has become an idiot.
Even me that is typing this tweet, I don’t know what’s doing my brain again.
Maybe, I’m mad too.
Wahala be like APC 🙈🧑🏿🦯🧑🏿🦯🧑🏿🦯🧑🏿🦯

@U_Rochas @Nedu19752008 You're a liar.
Obi’s MENTION, you've confirmed gives you visibility and fetches you Elon's token.

@Nedu19752008 He is my opponent, I will only leave him when he is out of the race.

It’s time for Obi to step down for GEJ, a man many Nigerians see as tested and trusted southern candidate.
GEJ remains one of the few presidents whose administration is still remembered by many as one of the most prosperous periods in Nigeria’s recent history. Now he wants to return, test his popularity again, and see how Nigerians will receive him politically.
Ironically, a man that did not leave behind remarkable achievements after spending 8 years as Governor of Anambra State is the one asking GEJ to step aside for him.
If Peter Obi has truly promised to do just one term, then what exactly stops him from stepping down for GEJ, who constitutionally has only four years left to complete?
Peter please step down for GEJ @PeterObi

@U_Rochas You claim to be financially stable but, you keep chasing Elon Mųsk's monthly token (with Obi’s mention).

I support Peter Obi because he is a thinker. And when a thinker also has willpower, such a person becomes unstoppable.
When he said he would be on the ballot in 2027, they downplayed his ability to ensure that. They are deceived by the sound of his voice and ignored him. They thought they could box him into ADC. They refused to register his political party and frustrated his efforts for reconciliation in the Labor party. Yet he rises.
For those that knew Anambra’s politics before he became the governor and how he was able to silence the Uba brothers and other political gatekeepers without sacrificing the state’s treasury to assuage their egos then you know the man get coconut head. The only political person that has been able to profile him very well is Ayo Fayose. Others kept underestimating him. They think you become an international billionaire by being stupid.
Una go learn lessons. x.com/Urchilla01/sta…

@Pharmacio001 @ADCVanguard_ 🤣 😁 😂
Let me educate and give you a secret:
Obi is MORE valued and ACCEPTED than Goodluck Jonathan in South.
Nobody compares to PO in Nigeria for now. Not GEJ. Not Atiku. Not Amaechi.
Make proper investigations and stop your PROPAGANDA
English

Atiku will not step down even for a Goodluck/Kwankwaso ticket, which arguably has a higher chance of winning, let alone an Obi/Kwankwaso ticket.
Peter Obi’s supporters claim Atiku is the problem and say they cannot align with the ADC, which they describe as a “structure of criminality.” Yet they still want the same Atiku/ADC to step down and support their ticket.
Just as Obi is unlikely to step down for either Atiku or Kwankwaso, Atiku also win not step down for anyone. Obedients should take note of this.
A Goodluck Jonathan/Kwankwaso ticket featuring a former president, could potentially perform better than an Obi/Kwankwaso ticket, and Kwankwaso will be more willing to accept that, especially given that Jonathan can only serves for one term.

Peter Obi has made 5 tweets since leaving the Atiku Abubakar presidential ticket assured contraption, otherwise known as ADC.
He has not attached anyone. He never does. He doesn't even reference them. He just speaks about Nigerian issues
Meanwhile, Bolaji, the clueless, has been on Arise News to talk about Peter Obi
Babachir Lawal, the journalist insulting ex SGF, was on Arise yesterday to talk about Peter Obi
Ledan salihu, The Deputy National chairman of the ADC North East was in channels to talk about Peter Obi
Dele Momodu is back to drawing cartoons. This time, not on magazines but on Twitter to talk about Peter Obi
The self acclaimed youth leader of the ADC, Dino Melaye, the flamboyant, aka The fainting senator has been doing same on twitter
These are heavy weights in the Atiku wing talking about Peter.
Then you see the useful idiots like hamma, somto, demola, Abdul aziz, Emma etc constituting nuisance on the TL
Peter will always take the moral high ground and that's why we love him
Nigeria will be OK

REALITY CHECKS:
"As the 2027 election approaches, it's good to give a highlight of the major conditions required for any candidate to be declared winner of the election according to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. (1) Candidates must get the majority of the votes from the entire country. (2) Candidate must get at least 25% from at least 24/36 states plus the FCT. In 2023 for example, INEC declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu the winner of the election for securing 36.7% of the total votes and 25% from 29 states. Followed by Atiku Abubakar who secured 29.9% of the votes and got 25% from 21 states. And then Peter Obi who came third with 26.1% of the total votes and 25% from 15 states. What does that mean? Tinubu was declared winner not only because of the number of votes, but also because of the 25% rule, which he secured majority from Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara, Ogun, Oyo, Niger, Kogi, Benue, Jigawa, Zamfara, Borno and Rivers. On the other hand, Atiku Abubakar won states like Osun, Yobe, Gombe, Adamawa, Katsina, Bauchi, Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, Taraba, Bayelsa and Akwa-Ibom bringing it to a total of 12 states. Similarly, Peter Obi won states like Enugu, Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, Imo, Delta, Cross-River, Edo, Lagos, FCT, Plateau and Nassarawa bringing it to a total of 12 states with none from North-West and North-East. Kwankwaso dominated Kano State with more than a million votes. Based on this highlights, who do you think will win the 2027 presidential election?
