As a result I’ve made sure I spend extra time reviewing papers by authors who speak languages other than English to do a tiny bit to address this

@NC_Renic A journal once had my article so long that the theoretical repro surgery I was speculating on was developed, clinically trialled and rolled out in 4+ countries leading to the birth of dozens of babies between when the article was accepted and when it was printed…
