I just had the scariest experience of my life.
I'm visiting a friend in Naples, FL. She invites me on a walk to her brother's house in nice neighborhood, broad daylight, maybe 30 minutes through quiet residential streets.
About halfway there, she turns to me. "Dude, there's a white car following us." I look back. A white BMW, hanging behind us at walking pace. I shrug it off. We're two grown women, broad daylight, beautiful neighborhood who's going to kidnap us? We keep walking.
We hang at her brother's for 20 minutes. By the time we leave, it's getting dark. Around 8pm. Two blocks into the walk back, we run into one of her friends and his son. We stop and tell them about the white car as a joke. "You're not going to believe this a white BMW was following us earlier." We're laughing. They're laughing. We say goodbye and keep walking.
Five minutes pass, the same white BMW pulls in behind us.
We start walking faster. There are no other cars on the road. Just him. We speed up,he speeds up. I look at my friend. She looks at me.
We start running.
She calls her husband. He's home with their two kids asleep, he can't just leave them. The BMW keeps pace. Minutes feel like hours.
Finally, a young woman pulls into her driveway. We wave her down. The BMW pulls up next to us, rolls down his window, a man, late 20s… says something we couldn't hear, and drives off. We explain our situation and ask her if she can drive us home.
Now this is where the story gets crazy.
My friend texts the neighbor we'd run into earlier, the one we'd told the joke to. A few minutes later, his reply comes in.
He'd asked his son about the white BMW.
His son told him the same white BMW has been parked at their bus stop the last two afternoons. Just sits there when the kids get off.
Never picks up a single kid.
We are very, very lucky to be home safe tonight.
To anyone in Naples, FL please be aware. White BMW. Male driver, late 20s. Be safe out there.
@BuildInES@sovaisv@jakescanlan Sorry but what he said doesn't make sense. Mining Bitcoin is done on specialized ASIC hashing units and AI compute mostly run on GPU Video cards or newly CPUs build for AI. Can he clarify what he said at the end of the video? He is talking about energy?
Bitcoin mining, AI, and off-grid communities.
At the @sovaisv Summit inside the National Palace, Cathia speaks to @jakescanlan about why El Salvador is becoming a sandbox for the next generation of energy, compute, and sovereignty. 🚀

You signed a £300,000 mortgage.
The bank had nothing.
They typed £300,000 into your account. The whole transaction took them 5 minutes.
Over the next 25 years you pay them back £550,000.
That £550,000 is your wages. Your overtime. Your weekends. Your sleep.
For them it is pure profit. They created the money from thin air. They have no cost to recover.
5 minutes of their typing.
25 years of your life.
That is the trade.
The government allows it.
The Bank of England protects it.
The banks feed themselves and their paymasters.
You were not given a mortgage.
You were enslaved by one.
You do not own the house.
You do not own your wages.
You do not own your future.
You rent your life from people who created nothing.
This is why they fear Bitcoin.
Bitcoin cannot be typed into existence.
Bitcoin cannot be debased by their paymasters.
Bitcoin cannot be lent ten times over.
The day you understand Bitcoin is the day you stop renting your life.
That is why they hate it.
And that is why you need it.
@MacOnChain@nayibbukele I'm in a gated community in Zaragoza and each house has solar panels on the roof and an inverter Installed. Electrical company refused to enable them because we don't spend enough electricity in the house. Ridiculous.
Currently sitting at a @PriceSmartsv
Giant car park and I cant help but think all these business from the US like @Wendys, @McDonalds, @BurgerKing, @DennysDiner, @kfc etc could easily cover their carparks in solar to help the power grid in El Salvador
What say you @nayibbukele
Doctor: "Your LDL is still high. I'm adding a second statin."
Patient: "I'm already on one. My legs ache."

@francispouliot_ I use DeepSeek to build small features and ask Opus to verify everything. I also use a very detailed 12 steps guidance rules in CLAUDE.md + use caveman mode to keep output minimal so that I don't waste token with useless information Opus says.
Am I tripping or Codex GPT 5.5 is orders of magnitude better and faster than Opus 4.7 on Claude Code. Did I get scammed all this time? Or is this something recent?
Bitcoin's durability, portability, divisibility, uniformity, limited supply, and acceptability make it good money.
The ability to use it for programmable inheritance planning does not.
Meta illegaly downloaded 80+ terabytes of books from LibGen, Anna's Archive, and Z-library to train their AI models.
Aaron Swartz downloaded 70 GBs of articles from JSTOR (0.0875% of Meta) in 2010. Faced $1 million in fine and 35 years in jail. Took his own life in 2013.
You can stop hitting your Claude Code rate limits.
Just install the Caveman skill.
It forces Claude to respond like a caveman.
Cuts token usage by 75%.
"Bug in auth. Token wrong. Fix line 42."
Same accuracy. Quarter the tokens.
This is the most ridiculous Claude Code optimization I've ever seen.
And it works.
France's government ID portal just lost up to 19 million records. Names, DOBs, addresses, phone numbers, logins. A third of the country, sitting in a criminal forum listing.
This is the same government lobbying for encryption backdoors and mandatory digital ID. They can't protect what they already have.

@GFYmunney@francispouliot_ I think they will go ahead. Paraguay's DNIT General Resolution 47/2026 (issued 03-2026) which mandates detailed annual reporting of crypto activity over $5,000 including wallet addresses, transaction hashes, and amounts for residents and platforms, with first filings due in 2027.
Countries that are contending deliberately or accidentally for Bitcoiners to migrate:

Just got off a zoom call catching up with a friend of mine from the Boy Scouts who is now a bank manager.
Told him that inflation has to be constant because loans create new money with interest and that interest has to be paid off somehow.
explained that even the bank of england has written papers describing exactly this process. they all admit this openly.
He was literally stunned and almost fell out of his chair.
"You mean money is lent into existence? every time a customer draws a line of credit they just print it? and the money supply is constantly increasing?!"
this is a guy who is a math major and works at a major bank.
even the people running the system don't know how it works.
