Ghana has gone to the IMF 17 times since independence. That is once every 4 years on average. The same cycle as our elections. Every government since 1957 has eventually ended up at the IMF. Not one exception. Think about what that means. Every time you vote, somewhere a ticket to Washington is being prepared and the people who took us there are still on television. Still campaigning.
