@CuriousPejjy I can tell you after 15 yrs of practice in Psychiatry that true mental illness does not discriminate based on social standing,region, religion or country.

I have lived in the middle for 7 years and grew up in Canada prior to that (4 years old to 21 years old), and on the middle east, I haven't met anyone with any mental health issues. But in Canada, 1 in 4 people have it, which includes some of my friends. Why is that? Is it the food we eat? Is it that in the West we have too many options and can't pick one? Is it because of too much freedom? Is it because of the fear of failure? Someone, please explain to me why there is little to no mental health issue in the Middle East, but a lot of it in the West?

@CuriousPejjy The overall prevalence of mental illness is the same all over the world. eg. schizophrenia is 1% and such. However in east , stigma, lack of understanding of mental illness and the societal structure lead a perception low rate.

So I thought about buying a new family car. A non-Tesla EV in a vehicle category that Tesla doesn't have. Can't do it...I can't own a car that doesn't have FSD (supervised). It's a deal breaker.

@CuriousPejjy I am using it daily on almost every ride now unless I am in rush. It’s quickly becoming a calming experience than a nervous one.

This is insane! $TSLA on April 6th has collected 1 billion miles of FSD. On April 23rd, they reported to have collected 1.25 billion miles of FSD. 250M miles collected within 17 days?!?! At this rate, $TSLA will be collecting 1 billion FSD miles every 68 days! Obviously this rate will continue to grow exponentially with more and more people opt in for FSD. So $TSLA could collect their 2nd billion FSD miles in 50ish days! SHEESH!

Rivian just announced they will be adopting NACS as the standard for their vehicles beginning in 2025, and offer an adapter to access Tesla’s Supercharger network beginning in 2024. $TSLA $RIVN Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe said, “We’re excited to work with Tesla and to see collaborations like this help advance the world toward carbon neutrality. I can report that Madhavan v. Jaddou, a class action suit, has been filed in Seattle. We are suing for 120+ plaintiffs over delays in EB adjustments where people risk waiting many additional years because of visa wastage that happens 9/30 & we're seeking the reservation of visas.

@delsota Assuming we get certified. The judge could also deny class cert and only the plaintiffs would get the benefit of the suit.

I’m a firm believer in the cornerstone importance of the 2nd Amendment to American liberty. Gun violence is a serious and complex issue, but it is by no means a justification to give up/take away one of the fundamental rights that define who we are and what we stand for.

@Model3Guy Yes, I would. Gun violence is not the only problem we have in this country. Everything is a trade off. There’s no cost-free solution to any issue. We have to consider it in the bigger context.
