The issue with the idea of using the draft to put together a competent offense for a proper evaluation on Willis is that this offense has a long way to go. Waddle is a proven, productive WR. Sure you can fill holes with the draft but that’s a long term plan and Willis is on a two year deal going into his 5th season in the league.
No issue with a total reset but strange to sign Willis to a short term deal without a shot at a real evaluation.
