Genuine question, what are the guidelines around impartiality on the programme’s social media accounts? Is it standard for the account to express personal opinions like this?

Sunday week in MacHale Park, young children will walk in with their parents to watch their heroes. If their parents can’t afford a €35 covered stand seat, they’ll be directed onto concrete slabs which were rebranded as “seating” by John Prenty in his interview with MidWest, as if that somehow levels the experience.
Yet those same children are not even allowed to step onto the hallowed turf of MacHale Park. The pitch is sacred, closed off, protected.
And somewhere down the line, if one of those children becomes the next Kobe McDonald, those in charge will speak loudly about loyalty and commitment, while ignoring the environment they created around those same children as supporters and future players.
We can’t keep switching values depending on context, and in particular money. You can’t treat children as outsiders in the stands and then demand lifelong allegiance on the pitch.
Worth thinking about what message that actually sends to future stars. #WhereWeAllBelong

Following on from yesterday's announcement by Connacht Gaa that all stand tickets for next weekends Connacht Senior Semi final between Mayo and Roscommon will be €35, listeners voiced their displeasure on the matter - in response Connacht Gaa CEO John Prenty joined the Tommy Marren Show to discuss the matter. Connacht GAA have time to do the right thing and sort the issue of adults with season tickets and letting the juveniles with season tickets sit with their parents in the stand at no extra cost. They have a season ticket and shouldnt be left out.
If anything the last week has shown that when people stand up they can make change.
The GAA is nothing without the supporters. We are going further and further away from being about the people and more about business every year.
Stop the squeezing and support what makes the organisation.

When's the last time Aidan O'Shea was seen throwing a sneaky dig or a punch? You can accuse him of many things, but on no planet is he a dirty playr. What a pathetic tweet

@Gerry_Flan93 Yeah, Michael Murphy and Aidan O'Shea are above the law in #GAA
