From the inbox @WestPoint_USMA professor Dean Dudley stated that Supreme Court Justice Alito’s question about how courts should define men and women was: “disingenuous and meant for rhetorical show only.” Are game theory and microeconomics easier subjects than knowing one of the most foundational truths of life? Anytime the @DeptofWar team wants to start looking for serious scholars to mentor and train future military officers, I can recommend a few upcoming events we’ll be at.

🚨 Revolutionaries in the JAG Corps The saga of Colonel Cinnamon Chielens, the Executive Officer of US Army Legal Services, continues to grow. (This is a thread 🧵) While she was promotable to Colonel and attending Senior Service College (USDOJ Fellowship), she made numerous posts on her Facebook which have now been deleted. In a series of posts she called "The Chaos Chronicals," she stated: "One of the more frustrating aspects of this absolute dumpster fire of an administration is walking the very thin line of what I am, and am not, allowed to say. For decades and decades the military was a non-political 'agency' that kept rowing despite the party in power. Because of that AND the fact that we have to obey the LAWFUL orders of the Commander in Chief, Servicemembers talking shit about the President was not a good look. Times have changed, folks. When an administration politicizes US and uses US as pawns, as talking points, and has the unfathomable audacity to communicate that they somehow have the entire support of the military, then we have a problem. This should not and cannot be a one-sided gag order. But because it is, for now, and isn't changing anytime soon….I have to find my form of resistance so that there is no doubt of where I stood when history judges these villainous cretins. 🚨JAG CORPS Meet Colonel Cinnamon Chielens. COL Chielens is currently serving as the Executive Officer for the U.S. Army Legal Services Agency (USALSA). COL Chielens posted "Republicans in Congress were...absolutely guilty of treason" (unsure of the topic of conversation) on her facebook account Between Nov. 30th of 2024 and Feb. 26 of 2025. This was right after President Trump was elected. (See pics in second post for timeline.) USALSA represents the Army in civil litigation before federal courts and administrative bodies, represents the U.S. in criminal appellate proceedings, as well as providing administrative and logistical support to the Army JAG Corps (along with much more). Lawsuits brought against the Army by soldiers, who have been unlawfully discharged or harmed, would be litigated by USALSA. As the XO to BG Steven Ranieri, the Commanding General of USALSA and potential future TJAG of the Army, she is responsible for running his staff and overseeing all aspects of the command's functions. Regardless of your opinion on politicians in Congress, an active duty JAG Colonel, who serves at the highest levels of judiciary and influences Army policy, cannot provide unbiased legal advise while openly posting hostile views of sitting Members of Congress, of which she indirectly, but closely, influences. The JAG Corps continues to provide numerous, documented examples of their progressive views and hostility towards conservatives and Trump's agenda. I wonder why the Pentagon is struggling to enforce Trump's Executive Orders...🤔
