@damanr Lakers would be a make or break situation for him in my opinion.

He's going to fit a hole in the roster, so from that POV, I understand the Lakers pursuit of Kuminga — but this is two teams with good coaches now that basically are saying "no thanks" to a young athletic wing, I remain pretty skeptical about what he'll be able to bring

Can't take this rant seriously from the same dude who spent most of the past 2-3 seasons crying about Bron's availability, declining game, and Klutch drama. This Eater of Asbestos is the personification of that pancakes/waffles twitter meme lmao.

both sides have moved on, but lebron’s best option is probably the lakers. family's there, a top 3 player in the world teammate, huge hole at his position, chemistry w/ the team’s best couple of players, defensive anchor at center, floor spacers, wing defenders to surround him.

Wonder what Daltons value is league wide. Had a solid rookie year until the rescinded trade, and hasn't really played much since But 17th pick that showed flashes, maybe a team thinks he can contribute for cheap?

Laker fans are really underestimating the potential impact of those swaps. We're in the flat lottery era. The league is more volatile than ever. You can't just say "yea we have Luka, we'll be a 50-plus-win team through 2033" anymore. Nobody can say that. MAYBE OKC or San Antonio.

The Walker Kessler contract is the absolute top of the non-star center market in that the nine higher-paid centers than him in terms of AAV have all been All-Stars. Given his age, upside and the fact that he reached free agency, I don’t think that’s crazy. The picks, though…

This is what it’s all about: Victor Oladipo was in tears after his incredible workout in front of NBA scouts in Las Vegas. He is attempting to make it back into the NBA, and is clearly giving it his all. After the workout, he went and shook everyone’s hand that attended.

@PlayoffDude He’s not a 4. He can’t shoot the three ball near well enough to be a 4. Center is his best position whether he likes it or not.

@jjmaples55 Think the trade goes through, but I’d assume they’d have to re-negotiate with the clippers. Less picks I’d guess.

@vinaykillawala Vando isn’t happening. Any team would want a first round pick back to take on his bad contract.

I just think there's something wrong when you see a young core click and one of the first questions is "can we afford to keep this together" That's where the NBA is right now from a roster building standpoint

After sitting here watching NBA free agency this year and overall NBA movement over the past 2 years somebody has to say it.... The new CBA was sold as parity, but the first and second apron are starting to function like a hard cap on player value, team continuity, and player movement. Teams are no longer making purely basketball decisions. They’re making fear-based apron decisions. That means good players get squeezed, homegrown cores get broken up, fan-favorite teams lose their identity, and the overall product loses some of the nostalgia and continuity that made people fall in love with the NBA in the first place. This isn’t about players not understanding business. It’s the opposite. We understand that the NBA is a business. That’s why the @TheNBPA has to operate with elite business acumen, elite negotiating strategy, and real foresight. The owners and the league walk into these meetings with killers that continue to run circles around us time and time again with elite lawyers, economists, cap experts, media strategists, and long term business operators. Players deserve a PA that is just as sharp, just as prepared, and just as aggressive about protecting our upside. Too often, it feels like players are informed after the fact instead of being truly educated and empowered before decisions are made. That cannot continue. The next CBA is a do or die moment for us as players. It's only going to get worse for us. We need transparency, accountability, and a serious re evaluation of who is representing us and how they are representing us. This is not anti parity. This is pro player, fan, and product. The league is strongest when players are valued properly, great teams can stay together, and the people representing us are operating at the same level as the people sitting across the table.
