You think you want God, but does your heart actually want Him? Your mind can say "I want a relationship with God" while your heart stays terrified of what that means. Most people are thinking about God instead of connecting with Him. You can't have a relationship with just a thought. When your brain knows God but your heart doesn't feel Him, the relationship stays distant. Like knowing your dad exists but never feeling connected to him, real relationship happens when mind and heart align, when you stop conceptualizing God and start encountering Him. Ask yourself honestly: Do I want to want God? or "do I think I should want Him?” Does my soul actually desire Him? That's where substantial relationships with Christ begin.
