In a weird way, we have a Kamala Harris-Donald Trump election because Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell made the opposite choice. Pelosi chose to shiv Biden, her friend, to save the party. McConnell voted to acquit Trump, whom he loathes, to hold onto power.

One of my most sincere grudges is against the Florida GOP for when I lived there in 2018 and voted, with most Floridians, to allow ex-cons to vote, and then the FL GOP gave a 🖕to the people and reversed it.

In Florida both Amendment 3 and 4 have majority support but both with fail because Florida Republicans rigged the system to require 60% to pass citizen initiatives. They essentially filibustered direct democracy in FL.
