Both of the previous actors who played Dumbledore, Richard Harris and Michael Gambon, were Irish.

I just can't man... This is the worst casting choice in a long time, and he has dreadlocks for fuk sake! While Alan Rickman's Snape looks the part and he has that brooding intensity aura, Paapa Essiedu's Snape looks like a nobody extra, a random NPC thug that's about to rob someone. The book describes him as having sallow skin, a hooked nose, and lank, shoulder-length black hair. At least lose the dreadlocks! The most cruel joke is that the producers of the newest adaptation bill themselves as closer to the books than the movies... but I have serious doubts when the casting choice looks like this!
