@612yo @wokenathan @3mc10 Thank you.. he had plenty of high end plays and flashes, especially on some important drives or downs. He didn't play good against BAL but still had several unbelievable plays, including two 4th down conversations towards the end. Obviously he needs to become more consistent
English

@wokenathan @dev_brennan @3mc10 If you watched JJ McCarthy throughout the season, and come away with the idea that he’s “generationally terrible”, you’re living in a fantasy world. We all saw the improvement
English

@LukasAult2 @Skol_Doc Lol, they can easily free up more money. They will be getting more from the J. Allen release and possibly 0'Neill extension. Next years salary cap is somewhat similar to the packers. There is a chance they trade Greenard but they don't have to.
English

@Skol_Doc Wasn’t saying you weren’t cap compliant, but you’re floating with around $9 mil after draft, and next year there are big cap hits such as Jefferson. Trading Greenard allows you to get some needed extensions now, Addison, O’Neill, Metellus, and Pace.
English

@SKOLaManiac @vikesinsider They are not going to pay that much money for a WR3. If Jennings doesn't get close to to what he is expected to get, then that would be great.
English

@vikesinsider Kirk was looking better towards the end of last season but I actually like Jauan Jennings more to immediately fill Speedy’s old spot. Hes a big body w a good catch radius & helps block in the run game. All comes down to 💰 #SKOL😈💜
English

@dev_brennan @purplepain_ Ya especially when we have so many needs I would love a d line men or corner will see in this next week
English

@HassanA34959 @purplepain_ I would love to get Etienne or Walker but I don't think they spend that much.. after that I think Gainwell is the best fit.
English

@dev_brennan @purplepain_ Can’t argue with that but why not spend a lil more on a back that can do everything
English

@VikingsGazette @Vikeologist RB1 should be able to receive or protect. JM is a good role player.
English

@Vikeologist Has done quite well as an injury fill-in in that job both in SF and MIN.
MIN could roll with the option so long as there was a strong depth player or two.
Worst case: trade for Cam Akers.
English

#Vikings very thin at RB right now.
Scott has good size and catches the ball well (was a receiver in his past, if memory serves).
Jordan Mason as RB1 and Zavier Scott as RB3 isn't too bad. Need more, though.
Kevin Seifert@SeifertESPN
Vikings had 3 ERFAs -- Jalen Redmond, Bo Richter and Zavier Scott. Redmond and Richter are confirmed to have received tenders, and Scott is expected to as well.
English

@HassanA34959 @purplepain_ Good receiving back and really good at pass protection. Both big needs for Vikings
English

@shark_the_sob @iamcogs @vikingzfanpage Lol, they released 3 aging overpaid players and another one retired. "All of their impact players" haha
English

@iamcogs @vikingzfanpage Which impact player was released?
Btw they're projected to be 30M under the cap to start the league year.
Can easily get to 50-60m
English

@cesar_224455 @UnderdogNFL Lol, getting rid of older overpaid players who aren't good anymore is not a bad thing...
English

The Vikings are now expected to release DTs Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave, Aaron Jones, and Ryan Kelly just retired.
Also didn't re-sign Sam Darnold.

@MikeCastellino That's weird because he still won 6 of the 10 games he started last season, and will get better.
English

Guys if Geno Smith or J.J McCarthy are starting for the Vikings next season the team isn't winning more than 8 games lol
Myles Gorham@MylesGorham85
It’s an unpopular opinion but I’d be all for the Vikings signing Geno to compete with/backup JJ. His 2024 season was strong before going to the dumpster fire Raiders team last year I’m sure they’ll explore the bigger names first but I’d be good with Smith
English

@gulfcrewzer @TheVikingAge @TheRealCrishad He is very bad at pass blocking. That's the biggest problem with him.
English

@TheVikingAge @TheRealCrishad Shoulda gone the other way. Better to make him bell cow.
English

Jordan Mason's offensive snap rate with the Vikings in 2025:
Weeks 1-7 = 63.5 percent
Weeks 8-16 = 29.4 percent
😯
Could Mason be a surprising departure this offseason?
(h/t @TheRealCrishad)

@VRuoste @NFLFrascella I'm not a Steelers fan and believe that is criminal!

… who do you want your team to sign??

English

@SamPaco2 @SomethingEra2 That was a very bad pass. I'm talking about the actual interception that counted, he hit Nailor in both of his hands.
English

@dev_brennan @SomethingEra2 It was a bad pass. It was a routine throw and he sailed it. They were very lucky it wasn't a pick 6. You don't need to defend what objectively was a mistake on his part. I agree he improved a good deal those last few games. The Cowboys game was just objectively his best game.
English

Streets wont want to hear it but until that injury this was his best performance
Kid was actually kinda balling last 4-5 weeks
DripMasterFlex 🕷️@DripMasterFlex1
English

@SamPaco2 @SomethingEra2 The INT wasn't a great pass but wasn't a bad pass. WRs in the NFL catch that 9/10 times. He played solid to good against Wsh, Dal, NYG, and had flashes against GB with a fractured hand. If ppl want to talk abt injury problems, then sure but he improved a lot down the stretch.
English

@dev_brennan @SomethingEra2 The 1st Addison drop was bad and on him. The other 2 were McCarthy making easy catches extremely difficult because he missed the placement of the throws. I never said the performance was bad even it's just that the Cowboys game was easily his best performance.
English

@SamPaco2 @SomethingEra2 If it wasn't for two dropped passes against the Giants, his numbers would have been 11-14 140+yds 1 TD, O Int.. add 20 rushing yds and 1 rush TD. That's just horrible.
English

@SomethingEra2 His best performance was the easily the Cowboys game. He nearly threw a horrendous pick 6 in that Giants game and reverted back to some of his inaccuracy issues from earlier in the season.
English

@MadCityViking Be careful, some people are going to screen shot your comment, tweet it on their page, where all the weirdos congregate, and then take turns getting off on calling you a retard.
English

@Vikeologist Also too many fans think the Vikings are going to move on from him. He will still get a shot.
