New style dropping soon. What should we call it? I’ve run out of ex-girlfriend names.

Introducing Context .NET 🚀 a small .NET CLI tool I built that gives code agents better context . it clones the source snapshot for the exact nuget package version you're using, locally under .context/ link below 👇

My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces): I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept): Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow

There is widespread speaker ID contamination across the dataset, different speakers and genders collapsed under the same IDs throughout, this was inherited from the original google release. I'm running a full programmatic relabelling and will publish this aswell when ready.

I've been curating a Shona 🇿🇼 speech dataset adapted from Google's recent WaxalNLP corpus. 86+ hours of cleaned speech with: >VAD-based silence trimming >Inter-utterance gap normalisation >SNR-based quality scoring >Normalised transcriptions for Shona orthography link below.

@bernhardsson any chance i can get academic credits as a student outside the US? I'm burning through my remaining balance, still tuning the learning rate and fixing some overfitting issues. I'd love to get this over the line and open-source the Shona weights!
Manasseh@devmanasseh

I've been using @modal to finetune the sesame csm 1b speech model to support Shona for my final year capstone project, and its really good. I can spin up an a100 from my terminal and watch the training progress without leaving my IDE. i love the code first approach.
