@JohnJHarwood He oversaw the largest Medicare fraud settlement in United States history. His company pleaded guilty to 14 felonies. He invoked the Fifth Amendment 75 times. He walked away with over $350 million. source: medicarefraudsenator.com

Rick Scott is a fraudster

Americans lost their family members AND their trust in our government because of Dr. Fauci’s actions and lies. He didn’t care. All that mattered to him was his fame. Anthony Fauci is not a hero, he is a villain who destroyed the credibility of U.S. public health.

@ShawnChittle They were great back in the early 1970's when Dulles was a small, sleep airport! My first flight into IAD was 1972.

@BenNollWeather I am hoping for a really quiet season in the Atlantic basin given the dysfunction in Washington and FEMA funds being used for non FEMA related activities.

@ericfisher Hoping it is helpful for any drought conditions up that way and not offering any damaging flooding for folks to deal with. -my home state-

@EdPiotrowski What a loving family and great memories you all have surrounding your Mom. They will take you forward, and may moving forward be somewhat easier knowing she had a good life and a loving family.

Carol Piotrowski
July 2, 1943 – July 26, 2026
Sunday morning, Mom peacefully left her earthly home and entered her eternal home in Heaven, where she is forever in the presence of Jesus. She is free from pain and suffering and now rests in perfect peace, surrounded by everlasting joy and the boundless love of her Savior.
Sunday morning was both heartbreaking and beautiful.
As daybreak arrived, it became clear that Mom was nearing the end of her earthly journey. Dad, her three children, her five grandchildren and one of her great-grandchildren gathered around her bedside. Holding her hand, I couldn’t stop sobbing as I repeatedly told her how much I loved her and how grateful I was for her love, her sacrifices, and her guidance throughout my life. The pain was so intense.
Then, quietly and peacefully, it was over.
Mom took her final breath and stepped into eternity.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, yet an overwhelming sense of peace settled over all of us. We sat together in silence, taking in the beauty of her face. She looked so peaceful and angelic. We knew exactly where she was, and we knew she was finally free from every pain she had endured.
Later that day, our family gathered around the television, sharing pictures and memories of Mom’s beautiful life. My sister then shared something that brought us all to tears once again. During the night, Mom had quietly mumbled a few words, so my sister gently asked who she was talking to.
Mom answered with just one word:
“God.”
The room filled with tears, but this time they were tears of joy. It felt like such a precious gift from the Lord…a gentle reminder that Heaven was already drawing near.
Thank You, God, for that blessing.
Mom lived an incredible life. Even during the last ten years, when she faced countless illnesses, hospital stays, and physical challenges, she never lost her beautiful smile or her positive spirit. She met every hardship with grace, courage, and unwavering faith. Everyone who knew her loved her because of her kindness and gentle heart.
Cindy and I have no regrets.
When Mom and Dad moved in with us 13 years ago, they were given a new lease on life. Although Mom was confined to a wheelchair and her health gradually declined over the years, we never stopped fighting for her or loving her with everything we had.
Cindy has been nothing short of a saint. She never treated Mom like a burden. She made her feel included, valued, and deeply loved every single day. She cared for Mom with the same tenderness and devotion she shows her own mother, and for that I will be forever grateful.
One of the greatest blessings of my life was caring for mom. I got to put her to bed every night.
I’d use the Hoyer lift to help her into bed, fluff her pillows, make sure her phone and iPad were charging, prop up her feet, cover her with a blanket, and before I walked out of the room, I’d tell her, “I love you.”
Every single night.
Looking back now, I realize those simple moments became some of the greatest privileges of my life.
Our home will never be the same without her physical presence, but her love, her faith, her laughter, and the countless memories she gave us will fill these rooms forever.
Mom, I love you, and I will miss you more than words can ever express. I promise to honor your life and your legacy for all the rest of my days.
This isn’t goodbye, it’s simply, “I’ll see you later.”
Until the day we’re reunited in Heaven, rest in the arms of Jesus. I’ll look forward to the moment we embrace again in the presence of our Savior.

@LowcountryRoads Your grands love you and want you to be happy and healthy, and that is what we want to offer our grands...I know as I have 5 of them! We need to be there for them. It is not really about us, but more about how they are and learning about the world around us!!
English

@LowcountryRoads I was a vol FD person for years in the 70-80s and loved the work that dispatchers did in minutes knowing there territory. We all loved to serve for sure!
English

@LowcountryRoads Take care of you first so that you can then take care of the 6 grands! Vote and get your buds to vote to some cause you believe in!
English

@dewpoint05 I wish it were that easy. I’m 60 and I’ve never really, deeply, doubted my government until about a decade ago. I’m bitter and I know I need to chill. But I’m deeply concerned for my 6 grandchildren’s future. I’m serious as my quadruple bypass surgery.
English

@LowcountryRoads You need to let go and scroll past the nasty stuff, I think. I listen to what makes me happy and have a positive group of "buds" on Twitter. I am just not in to the daily negativity. I want to enjoy conversations and news. I am a positive Momma.
English

@dewpoint05 I can feel your sincerity. I am pretty much the same way with the exception of really, really, really hating most people! Hahahaha! I’m jaded after so many years of having to listen and see humanity’s bullshit.
English

@LowcountryRoads Well, thank you. I have always been a giver of time, emotion, and anything I could offer. It started when I was 6 years old...don't know why...just was me.
English

@LowcountryRoads We are definitely part of of brotherly comradery offering our time, emotion, and dedication to helping others. I worked in health care 47 years after volunteering as a FD person, so I go waaaaay back!
English

@dewpoint05 Yes! Although I’m retired from 911, I’m a 15 year veteran of the fire service. My degree is in Fire Science but I chose a different path to help people. Full respect, my fellow brother.
