@DJSnM What about going not out, but in? Kind of Solar probe but smaller? or a mission to Mercury without all the swing-by's?

And while you could possibly send a spacecraft to the outer solar system, it would need a RTG to do anything which isn’t an option.

The plan for Artemis III is a LEO mission to test HLS hardware. That means the ICPS upper stage has almost no work to do, it’ll reach orbit with almost full fuel. After separation it has enough dV to send its cubesats almost anywhere, even interstellar space. Where should it go?

Space Shuttle Atlantis on display with the cargo bay open as if it was in space. I have also included a photo of the heat shield tiles in great detail. This is a such a fascinating and amazing attraction to visit. There is so much more in this building.

Los Angeles: please be on the lookout for a shitty rusted blue 2002 Land Rover Discovery 2 w/texas plates. That’s right, my beloved Disco Stu was stolen last night! It has over 300k miles on it and I am cracking up at the idea of the thief dealing with all its quirks.

Blue Origin's Mars Telecommunication Orbiter (MTO) will accelerate exploration at Mars by ensuring continuity of communications capabilities, supporting tomorrow's science missions, and beginning the enduring infrastructure that will enable future human exploration. MTO offers an integrated solution combining our New Glenn launch vehicle and the Blue Ring Mars capable spacecraft platform. Both have flight-proven heritage. New Glenn is operational, the Blue Ring Pathfinder mission has flown, and multiple units are in production. The scalable open architecture is designed to grow with Mars exploration needs and offers flexible payload capacity for additional science instruments. Learn more at blueorigin.com/mars.

Great tracking shot from Max showing a not so great solid booster from Northrop Grumman. (Originally developed by Hercules) ULA fished boosters out of the ocean to help fix this issue, but still we see almost the same nozzle burn through and separation.
Max Evans@_MaxQ_

Tracking footage from this morning's launch of @ulalaunch's Vulcan rocket & the USSF-87 mission for @USSpaceForce - filmed from a perspective 3.9 miles to the west of SLC-41. SRM nozzle burn through plainly visible on the right-hand side of the vehicle, protruding in the direction of the twin BE-4 engines on the core booster. As alarming as this was, it's promising to see that the vehicle held a nominal trajectory as the flight progressed, per ULA's latest update. Standing by for additional word. 📸 - @NASASpaceflight Live Coverage Replay - youtube.com/live/y_uwK1uuK…

If you want to following along with the Artemis II WDR, i've created this little tool that displays the timeline & live-streams, try it out here x37b.nl/artemis/ Note: it is crappy code, things may break and I might update it "live" so you have been warned :) #ArtemisII

I originally decided to use Enclustra modules for an SDR and homebrew radar, but they are expensive and have too much stuff I don't need. The Artix-7 100T is around $40 at @ElectronicsLcsc

Oh boy. I have a feeling we will be hearing of people with $1,000-$2000 energy bills in the coming weeks. That storm is no joke both in present and long term effects.

Does anyone have numerical trajectory data for Artemis II that they are willing to point me to? It's getting close to launch and I don't have anything quantitative on orbital parameters for the various mission phases.
