Americans are reaching a breaking point, the cost of living is too expensive and there’s nothing left to “cut back on”
Bro, and there's just nothing else that you can cut back on, boy. There's no more cutting back on Starbucks coffees, subscriptions. There's nothing left — I'm going days where I'm like, bro, I ain't gonna eat for lunch”
“I'm making the most money I probably didn't ever make — The bills be snatching it. I'm not even gonna say we not making enough money. Everything just too high —$40 an hour, you just barely making it. You just be having enough and maybe a couple hundred extra. That's crazy. What is going on?”
Here’s the thing, he’s right and I did the math to prove it
In many areas, a one-bedroom can easily eat $1,800–$2,500+per month, this is 40%+ of take home pay for someone at $40 an hour
When you add in everyday expenses like insurance, gas, groceries and taxes you’ll likely have nothing left making $40 per hour
A new 2026 poll showed 75% of American workers say they struggle to afford more than basics
This can’t continue. We can’t keep living like this

@Leah742 @nicksortor Do you know what those inside can do? Volunteer to go back to their home country. They can leave within a day. What would be the point of torture? They aren't spies for foreign soldiers. If you have empathy, it's because you want them to stay and vote illegally in our elections.
English

@nicksortor Fuck off. There are people inside who are being tortured. Women and children. Maga only sees what they want to see. Americans who have empathy are considered terrorists because of people like you. What if your mother was in there? Would you still laugh and make fun?
English

@ace_9292 @krassenstein Why are you against enforcing federal immigration laws?
English

@krassenstein Tomorrow is the primary… Spenser Pratt wants the LAPD to help ICE in all their operations in the city. If he wins there will be ICE agents on every corner asking LA residents for their papers
English

Tomorrow is election day. In my opinion, this is a no-brainer and Karen Bass will easily walk away with this.
Pratt has no chance. Mark this post.
Polymarket@Polymarket
BREAKING: Karen Bass surges in the Los Angeles Mayoral Election odds — & tomorrow is Election Day. 64% chance she's re-elected.
English

@Imshailendra33 @bennyjohnson How many years does it take to get a cover?
English

@bennyjohnson The reservoir is empty for a $19.5 million cover replacement, required by federal law—not because of incompetence. Security guards are standard for construction sites, not a conspiracy. Claims of a cover-up are baseless.
English

I can show you why Spencer Pratt is going to win...
I saw it for myself.
Karen Bass does NOT want you to see this.
Remember how the fire hydrants had no water during the Palisades fire? That's because the massive Santa Ynez Reservoir was empty. It was empty because of LA's incompetent leaders. Californians died because of this. Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass claimed they refilled it.
Well guess what...
18 months later, it’s STILL empty. Not a single drop. They want the fires to happen again. They don't care. Security has now been posted outside the Santa Ynez Reservoir to keep the public from seeing the truth.
Good thing we brought a drone... look at this devastation. Look at what they did.
LA, it will be your house next. Vote Spencer Pratt.
English

@docpjo @bennyjohnson It's June 1st, and the reservoir isn't filled.
English

@bennyjohnson The reservoir was being repaired. Every engineering and climate expert said that December and January were the best months to repair, as there usually aren't major fires after the start of November and before March. So, that was a very educated and logical decision.
English

@FurkanGozukara The lawsuit was over the IRS releasing his tax records. How is that a fake suit?
English

@EdKrassen Do you have access to the intel the DOW had? If not, and if you have no other evidence, you're simply exporessing your daily version of TDS.
English

@guyfelicella That's because you're a Canadian. You're in a recession, losing jobs every month. Carney is ripping you off and making living in Canada hell. Trump is leading a resurgence of the US. In the US people have true free speech. Even the president. Accusations aren't convictions.
English

@marks298933 @BillKristol It's already been targeted. Drones are now a worse threat than ever before.
English

@ChrisDJackson He got 13 Marines killed in a botched retreat from Afghanistan.
English

Imagine the worst thing you can say about Joe Biden is that he got old while carrying the weight of the country on his shoulders.
He beat Trump when no one else could. He gave America and the world a fighting chance. He rebuilt the economy, passed historic legislation, stood with our allies, and restored dignity after four years of chaos and incompetence.
Yes, he believed he still had more to give. That is not a moral failing. That is a man who loved his country and did not want to walk away from the fight when his nation needed him. In the end, he didn't fail the country, we did, because we fully knew the stakes.
History will be much kinder to 46 than the pundits ever were. That I know.
I’ve got his back. How about you?

BREAKING: A federal judge is now signaling the Trump administration’s so-called “weaponization fund” may have emerged from collusive litigation and could potentially amount to fraud on the court.
That is nuclear-level language from a judge.
“Fraud on the court” is not normal criticism.
It is reserved for situations where a court believes it may have been manipulated, misled, or used as part of a coordinated scheme.
And the judge reportedly pointed to two giant red flags:
- the massive $1.8 billion settlement amount
- and concerns the opposing sides may not have actually been acting as true adversaries
Translation?
The court is openly questioning whether this lawsuit was partially engineered to create a taxpayer-funded political compensation machine.
That is an absolutely extraordinary development.

@AZ_Brittney @krassenstein You don’t miss presidents with dementia?
English

@krassenstein @AJHGH04 I miss presidents who are not in the Epstein files like Joe.
English

@krassenstein Where’s any video and sound? Why are you living in the past?
English

@DavidProwess_ @krassenstein Is that why oil is being dumped off of Kharg Island?
English

@krassenstein 🚨🇮🇷🇺🇲 60 Minutes confirms Iran is brilliantly bypassing the US blockade, exporting 100,000 MORE barrels of oil daily than before the war.
English

An Iranian outlet tied to the IRGC reports that U.S. officials privately told Tehran to ignore Trump’s Truth Social posts because they were meant for domestic political theater, not actual negotiations.
If true, it’s pretty telling: when you have to publicly spin a deal one way while privately negotiating another, it usually means the real deal isn’t nearly as strong for America as you’re claiming.
English

@krassenstein And you believe the Iranians associated with the IRGC. That's pretty telling.
English

I don’t often agree with Kagan but he seems to be right that this is what Trump is hoping for.
He started a war without a plan, wasted billions of dollars in equipment, failed to prepare obvious targets for defense, which resulted in unnecessary deaths of American soldiers, hollowed out the Pentagon’s ability to assess targets, which resulted in us murdering over 150 civilians, mostly girls, when we bombed their elementary school in Minab, handed Iran incredible strategic victory by allowing them to take de facto control of the Strait of Hormuz and show that we are powerless to stop it, exposed the strategic isolation of the U.S. that his antagonism to our allies has brought us in, and now he’s trying to slink away with some cockamamie cover that he’s going to use to claim victory.
The Iran hawks are clamoring for him to “finish the job” but he’s already finished, and Iran knows it. He doesn’t have a mandate to send ground troops, and even he he orders more bombing, it will be a cosmetic tactic designed to disguise the defeat. What can you possibly accomplish by trying the exact same thing after it failed the first time except now you have depleted a lot of the ammo and Congress has gotten more assertive about not expanding the war?

English

@World_Warrior @Rothmus Yet prior groups of immigrants in the past century actively tried to assimilate into their new country (s). Not so now.
English

It’s interesting how people condemn immigration today, while forgetting that many modern nations were built through conquest, settlement, and migration themselves.
When Columbus and later European settlers arrived in the Americas, Native Americans didn’t exactly invite them in. Their land, culture, and identity were transformed forever.
History becomes complicated when people only defend migration when it benefited their own ancestors.

English

This is a major reason why mass immigration generates such intense resentment.
Many immigrants not only fail to identify with their new country and its native people, but they actively oppose them and everything the host culture represents.
Here she is, the same person defines “ethnic cleansing” as the permanent resettlement of an entire ethnic group from their homeland, yet openly celebrates the demographic decline of the white British population, declaring “We are winning.”
This isn’t treason. Treason implies betrayal from within a group.
This is something else entirely: a demographic invasion by people who were never part of the historic British nation. An ethnic cleansing per her own definition.
When native Britons say “send them all back,” it’s really hard not to sympathize.
